Hello greeners Honestly, there is no specific timeline for this.. I have seen applicants getting a final decision days after Eligibility started.. And also months after Eligiibity started.. But most of the Final decisions that came days(2-3 days) after Eligibilty started has been refusals.. This is just based on my observation though, as the operation of IRCC can't be 100% known.. Onlinedoctor: Thanks for your reply. It's kind of a family business and I only assist a couple of times a week. It's not official. There was no enumerations or pay slips. My dad owns the company and my brother manages it. I'm just looking for the right way to go about this. |

Hello everyone, I have the following questions: 1, I am married with 2 young kids but I applied alone. How soon after I land can I apply for my kids? 2, What visa type should I apply for? Visitors visa or open study permit? Kids are currently 5 and 7 years old. 3, How easy or fast is it to convert the kids visitors visa to study permit in Canada? 4, Husband doesn’t work in Nigeria. He needs to stay in the country he is working in to make money for I and the kids on moving to Canada. Question is, which visa type should we process for him cos he will be coming and going. SOWP can not work in this instance. I will appreciate all the response I can get. Thank you all. |

rahmeekadigz: Did the payslip reflect on your bank statement? My dad uses his company's account more than his personal account, so that's where most of his funds are. There should be no problem using either my brother's or dad's. Where I'm kind of confused is trying to get it right as a volunteer. I'm just kinda like you. I go there a couple of days a week. I'm not paid or anything. I thought volunteers don't get paid. |

tolupe1: Hi Tolu, 1, I am married with 2 young kids but I applied alone. How soon after I land can I apply for my kids? - What plans do you have for the kids when you travel? You have to state that in your SOP, since their dad is not in the country you need to get strong reason for leaving them in Nigeria while you travel- Best bet is to get your SP and thereafter apply for visiting visas for them. 2, What visa type should I apply for? Visitors visa or open study permit? Kids are currently 5 and 7 years old. - You are to apply for Study permit, since the kids aren't travelling now, no need to add them to your application( But later on you can apply for visiting visas for them) 3, How easy or fast is it to convert the kids visitors visa to study permit in Canada? - With visiting visas kids are allowed to study. 4, Husband doesn’t work in Nigeria. - Get your study permit first, then let your hubby apply for visiting visa that will allow him come and go for the duration of the visa. |

Hello, please I got a reply from IRCC from an email I sent on 17th January, Please what does it mean? The response is below. I also got my third Ghost update today. IRCC records confirm that your application was received on September 6, 2021, and is being processed at the Canadian visa office in Nairobi. Criminality checks and medical examination results are passed, however, further review is required before an eligibility decision is made. This means that the case is no longer straightforward and will, in most situations, lead to additional delays in processing. Once a decision has been made, officers will be in a position to determine next steps in processing. Submission/AOR 6th September 2021 Medicals Passed 25th October 2021 1st Ghost update November (Not sure of exact date) 2nd Ghost update 24th January 2022 3rd Ghost update 19th February 2022 |

Hi everyone My younger sister got admitted to Brandon University,Winter session. She applied for her visa in October, eligibility review started in the first week of December ever since no update. We've sent several e-mails some of which they have responded to, the same responses ; excessive applications ......... Now since she can't meet up with this semester she plans to defer. But the concern is if she can defer the admission to fall which should have been her second semester or does deferrals only have to be in sessions(that is to say she can only defer to another session which starts in January 2023). I would also like to know if her admission would be valid for a whole year/session ( Jan 2022-jan 2023) in which case she wouldn't need to defer We've texted the appropriate authorities but they are yet to respond |

Hermes119: Check their website to see if the program she wants to study has a Fall intake. If it does, then she can request to defer to the Fall intake. |

Good evening everyone Please I need advice on how to go about my study permit. I got an admission into a Canadian college and I plan to apply for my visa next month. I’m 30 and married with two kids (2&5) my husband is my sponsor and after paying half of my school fees he has 38000usd left in his domicilary account. Also I have a job that pays me 140k per month for the past 4 years and currently have just a little above N400,000 in my account. Please will this money be enough for proof of fund? Also hubby earns over a million naira monthly so he will be sending me money from nigeria every month. My course is just a one year post graduate program and I intend to apply without my husband and kids so I can use them as proof of ties. I also intend to collect a study leave letter from my company. Please guys what other things do I need to do? |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Teemenzo: 8:31pm On Feb 19, 2022 |
Louiz005: You have a good financial background. My advice, submit your own statement of account of 400k, (if you can get more, not bad but avoid lump sum) Also, submit you husband's statement of the domiciliary account Thirdly, submit you husband's documents, salary account, work details, nigerian bank account, if he has a business, submit his CAC document. Anything financial about him. Submit. Then submit his personal identification documents. That should do 1 Like |
