Hello My Abuja people, Please how can one locate VFS office at central business district from Road Safety Estate, Lokogoma? Someone has Biometrics to meet up but not a resident of Abuja and thus don't know her whereabouts? Feedbacks will highly be appropriated. Thanks |

Hello Tolu 1. Immediately you get your study permit and SIN on your arrival in Canada, you can apply for a visiting Visa for your kids. 2. You will be applying for a study permit for yourself and Visiting visa for your Kids.. 3. Your kids are still underage, the Visiting Visa should work for them.. You can as well convert to a study permit for them, this shouldn't be too much issue.. 4. Since your hudband will be on and off in Canada, then he should apply for a Visiting permit to Canada.. Once he is ready to settle with you in Canada, then you should apply for a spousal permit for him.. Peace tolupe1: 1 Like |

I already requested for my notes since January, they asked for another 30days, I am hoping by 4th March it would be out. I also sent them a mail via webform as well. I read on Canada Visa site, someone with thesame situation as mine did and they responded. This is the content of my email. Upon enquiry into to the delay in my application through the office of Honourable Sean Fraser, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, I came to know that my eligibility status has been put for further review required. So kindly please provide me the details of officer’s concerns so that I take timely appropriate steps to allay his/her concerns. Teemenzo: 1 Like |

Good evening NL family. A quick one please: could anyone who has successfully applied for Mpower Financing loan for international students as POF be kind enough to reach out to me privately? I am currently stuck somewhere with the loan application processes, and needs to complete it as soon as possible. I remember that sometime in the past a few people from this forum talked about applying for the loan to support their study visa application. Thanks in anticipation of your prompt response. |

Hello mama This exact message from IRCC comes on rare occasions.. This simply means your application has been transferred to a Senior Visa officer by a Junior officer for further review before a final decision is made.. Now hope you didn't withhold any information at all from them, also hope you didn't submit conflicting documents.. Cos for them to have said your application isn't straightforward means there is something fishy, and they really wanna do their thorough investigation on your application which will lead to a further delay.. If truly you are truthful with your application and you didn't hide any information from them, then expect a positive decision from them.. The ghost updates just means they are actively on your case, nothing special.. It will end in praise if you were truthful with your application.. Peace mama12345: 1 Like |

I was 100% truthful in my application, I also added my police reports for both when I was schooling in England and the United States as well which they said was passed. I am assuming the reason is because of Change of name on my documents perhaps. I have always applied for all my Visa's myself without using any third party because I don't want people putting a wrong information. I am believing for a positive response. Good to know @bolded Now these countries you mentioned and other countries you visited, hope you obeyed their immigration rules, hope you didn't overstay your permit in these countries.. Canada shares information with these countries, so they are probably getting information about your immigration status in these countries and if you totally obeyed their rules or not.. Also Change of name shouldn't be an issue so far you summited the documents to proof the change of name. i.e Affidavit of change of name form a State High court and also Newspaper publication.. Except you didn't submit these documents though... Since you said you were 100% truthful in your application, then be positive, it will end in praise.. Peace mama12345: 1 Like |

aizebe: Firstly, what are your home ties? Spouse, children, parents, siblings, properties, jobs, business, investments etc What is your relationship to your sponsor? Did you submit any financial document of yours? Did you submit pictures showing you and the sponsor? Also did you submit any financial transactions between you and your sponsor? Or chats between you and your sponsor Did your sponsor submit at letter of support? Did your sponsor do any gift deed to you? Please answer this partaining to your first application |

I definitely obeyed the rules. I am a lawyer by profession so integrity is very important to me. Even after studying there, I still have Valid tourist Visa for both countries on my passport including Schengen Visa as well and I included them in my application. I however changed my name twice, from my maiden name to my spouses name then back to my maiden name. I included the affidavits, news paper publication and order absolute from the court as well. Maybe they are worried because of my place of birth/state of origin (Northeast Nigeria) Lol makano: |

Good day house. Please I have a question. This is the scenario. I have a 21k funding out of which 16k is my tuition leaving me with 5k for living expenses. Now I don't have money, neither does my parents. My uncle on the other hand has money and would be willing to help. My question is 1. when stating how I will be sponsored, should I say myself/parents or say others. 2. would it be better my uncle sends like 3 million to my dad and then my dad sends the 3 million to me with a gift deed. But I don't show his account so they don't see the lumpsum deposit. 3. Would it be better I just use my uncle with his bank statement and he sends me the 3 million with a gift deed and other documents? If you have a better solution please feel free to state it. @makano @ketima @technix I would also appreciate your kind inputs as well. Thank you. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Teemenzo: 10:02pm On Feb 19, 2022 |
VonVictor: To me, your uncle can send it to your dad and your dad sends it to you as gift deed. He has to write a letter of support stating the gift deed he did to you. With that you don't need to submit his statement of account again. Just your statement and the balance of your funding should do. Other opinions are welcome. 1 Like |

ORIGINAL PASSPORT REQUEST !!! GOD DID IT Protocol breaking God. It ended in praise After 9months of submitting my application First time application GRAND UNCLE SPONSORSHIP It will be so bad and ungrateful if don’t come back here to give my timeline to help others , the way other people helped me too. I got every information I needed from nairaland ranging from submitting application to writing sop all information gotten from nairaland ,with very good people that are willing to help. TIMELINE Submit application:May 15th 2021 Biometrics request:May 16th 2021 Biometrics appointment:May 26th 2021 Biometrics updated:May 26th 2021 Upfront medical: June 16th 2021 Medicals updated: July 13th 2021 Ordered my 1st gcsmnotes :September 26th 2021 Gcsmnotes received:November 29th 2021 Ordered another gcsmnotes : January 26th 2022 Correspondence letter:February 17th 2022 PPR:February 17th 2022. DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED PROOF OF FUNDS SOLE SPONSOR - UNCLE 6MONTHS BANK STATEMENT CAC of his company Landed properties passport bio data Survey of his landed properties Memorandum and article of association of company Certificate of occupancy of landed properties Waec results Secondary school testimonial Secondary school transcripts Letter of recommendation from my school Letter of volunteer at an hospital Letter of sponsorship Letter of consent from my parents Letter of acceptance Pictures with my sponsor Picture with my sponsor and parent Awards from school including that I was the head girl Note : my gcsmnotes I ordered stated insufficient proof of third party sponsorship . I came to nairaland to ask for what I should do . I was asked to act fast on it because it is very close to a refusal but God doesn’t fail. Nairaland gurus told me to fire back using email and webform this thing actually works most important the general webform which make you know that they have received your enquiry. *Letter of explanation explaining the relationship between I and my sponsor why he would what to sponsor me . *I stated that his children are grownups and successfully established in their careers so he doesn’t have major financial responsibility towards them *birth certificate of my grand uncle and my grandma, *family tree, *old pictures of my grand uncle and grand ma , *recent pictures of my grand uncle and I on my Graduation day *Receipt of my full year tuition fees, *stating that GIC account will be created for me once my visa is approved Also, all glory and honour to God that made this possible because this application is far from perfect . “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;” Proverbs 3:5 NIV. With prayer and fasting the application was approved. Also , trust God while waiting because I was so discouraged when I come to nairaland and I see most application with uncle sponsorship are not approved even those with same surnames talk less of me that it is grand uncle with different surname from mine. I told God that I want my application to be different with this grand uncle sponsorship. I want to give a testimony of grand uncle sponsorship because what’s impossible with man is possible with God. Also, while waiting try to distract yourself from thinking of it because it really affects one’s mental especially. The waiting period is not easy but it will be easier if you have faith in God . I joined NLP by pastor b which made me closer to God and speak to God about my application. In the mighty the name of God , those that are planning to submit their application and people waiting for a decision to be made on their application they will get a positive decision very soon in Jesus name because mark 11:24 “That what ever you ask in prayers believe you have receive it and it is yours”Also ,remember “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 . Thank you so much nairalanders always answering my questions especially @ makano , @scott9ish , @anon123 , @liana2020 @justmellow ( who said he his looking forward to my testimony here is it ) and others that I forgot to mention .I really appreciate. I hope this helps someone. 26 Likes

This is super fast. Did you apply from Nigeria ? You did not state reason(s) for the rejection. You will need to apply for a Gcms note to get a more accurate reason why your application was refuse and it was help to provide a better guide in your next application which would lead to approval, God willing. If I may ask, when did your eligibility start? I have never seen application completed in less that 2weeks like yours. aizebe: |
