If as a woman, you get all the intelligence and all other features that makes one attractive, if you nor fine to my taste, I nor fit dey sexually attracted to you.

Beauty together with intelligence are of utmost importance to me when it comes to intimate relationships.

I don't hate black skinned ladies but I don't want to give my child(ren) any reason to bleach.

My goal is to make sure my kid(s) can say confidently "at least, I'm not ugly".

I don’t want them to console themselves with intelligence that almost everyone has.

If your children ever find reason to bleach their dark skin, then you've failed in bringing them up well.

You can say that.

But people who bleach have their reasons, whether genuine or not.

Some people started bleaching at age 25, what can a parent do at that age.

At that age, the child should be responsible for what ever the outcome may be.

Even at tender age, some mothers still apply lightning cream on their children.

I don't think any woman is ugly sad sad it's just money, wear clothes that suits your shape, make hair that suits you, dress feminine, take care of your skin with nice creams (I don't mean bleaching cream). If you see me I am petite and cute, (madam portable) and carry myself, I don't associate with people below or the same class with me... grin grin
All this beauty stuff stems from the mind, if you think you are ugly, others may see same, low self-esteem is very bad... figure out something unique about your physical appearance and make it radiate, (something like your color, smile, face, eyes, long and straight legs) that will be your point of attraction to other people, men are moved by what they see, you must not have a big Yash and breast to attract them, abeg find that fine feature you have, brush it up and use it. Also acquire a degree, get busy. I swear this will boost your self-esteem and you will radiate with beauty. Every woman is beautiful shaa... But there are very ugly ones grin grin

I know of a woman who did that to his kid. The cream the baby uses is bleaching cream. A baby for that matter.

That's why I want a light skin wife. For someone that rubs Cacatin, I'm fair. Marrying an original light skin lady would eliminate the menace of bleaching from my immediate children and that's my goal.

Growing up, I certainly was below average. Never received any special attention or compliment. I grew up, and metamorphose into something no one imagined possible.

Alluring checkbones, jawline carved from a rock, succulent lips that turns even straight men on, the body of a Roman god, and an amazing mystery personality. I'm nothing but a human magnet.

I attract both genders on a daily basis. They believe I am the sexiest creature alive. They can't help but sexualize me in their minds before approaching.

"You should model", Many have told me.

I don't consider myself handsome, because everyone who came close ended up sexualising me. Imagine a fellow dude telling me in the gym that 'I sexy die' in his words.

People automatically treat me better, and treat the next person horribly for reasons on appearance.

Only intimidated men have tried to harm me. I don't hesitate to flee. It's not rosy. Beauty or ugly, no one will ever understand what it means to be you.

Funny enough my dad married my mom, a beautiful woman that three men were chasing at his office for marriage, and he was the one that got her. She was fine o. Her friends mom cried when she saw my mother, a young woman at the time, asking God why her daughter wasn't fine, fair and tall like my mom. I bet my dad thought I'd inherit my mom's looks. But I turned out to look more like him. I have his big feet and dark skin. I look more like a female version of him.
So guys, you being dark and not really fine, then you marry a fair fine lady, doesn't mean your kid will turn out pretty.
OMO i kinda understand the bolded. i am tall and good looking but i cant deal with picking a lady who isn't fine o..its all for the sake of my children..
i am good looking already so settling down gotta be with a lady thats good looking

To the unattractive or average looking members of this forum, there's hope for you...

"Beauty is skin deep"... Cliche, but this statement is nothing but the gospel truth...

My personal experience:

My childhood was tough... We moved a lot... I changed to new school... Got bullied by the older girls... Kids can be very cruel... cry

So I grew up thinking I wasn't attractive...

I hate to receive compliments... Yes, flattery doesn't move me... grin

How did my perception of myself affect my relationships?

It made me appreciate and value intelligence... A sense of humour... Good character and humanity... grin

I'm not drop dead gorgeous... I'm a tomboy, so I'm pretty rough... Lol...

I began to have interest in other things... Instead of fashion, it was science and tech and history and literature... Had a crush on Steven Hawkins (rip)... grin

Massage my ego by telling me how smart I am...
That's the only way to my heart... (And food and an adventure and a good book and music...etc) grin

I'm not attracted to pretty faces... I absolutely adore intelligent men... A plus If they find it hard to connect to others...(I can relate)... embarassed

We live in a world that tells us that if we aren't beautiful or handsome, we're a zero... And it's wrong...

You have many other amazing qualities...

1. Your intelligence...

2. Your personality; you might be funny, kind, dependable...etc...

Most of us try to use money to compensate... That's bullshit!

You can date someone who likes the same thing you do; music, genre of books, movies, travel, food...etc...

Nothing connects us more than common interests... Especially in a relationship...

It's not high cheekbones, not flawless skin, not biceps...

Ofcourse, we're all beautiful... "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder"... The opinions of assholes don't matter... smiley

But just realise that there's more to you...

Beauty standards change... Like a stupid trend... But you're constant... kiss
This is how fugly people console themselves. You're really good

And your then cute light skinned kids move to a different country where they are automatically seen as ugly by their classmates because they have that prototypical "mr fat nose African look" no amount of physical conditioning can remove. Micheal Jackson with all his millions couldn't. By all means do aspire to marry up. It's not even something you're doing at a conscious level. Just remember this thing is entirely random. You might have only one "very good looking" child out of three even with the best of circumstances within your control. Personally my favorite heritable traits are good health, longevity genes, & the capacity for hardwork. And since I know I can't control absolutely how these traits are passed on to my offspring, I've opted out of the entire enterprise and decided to just go this life alone.

To you I might be ugly... To someone else I might be beautiful...

Because I was bullied, looks mattered less to me...

I like being appreciated for being intelligent... For having a great personality... For being kind...

I don't want a medal for being a 'doll'...

I want everyone to know that being unattractive isn't the end...

There's more to you than a face/body that doesn't meet superficial beauty standards... wink
keep on deceiving yourself..same u would reject a short ugly guy with all those specs u mentioned all in the name of "he isn't my spec"....the hypocrisy in this forum is on another level... I don't want to start quoting your comments in this forum,of you body shaming guys here and tagging all Nigerian men as ugly.

Maybe you think I'm a miserable ugly person. I'm not. Not to brag, people who know me personally know my look and ugly can never be in a statement. The only person to call me ugly is my baby sister and she does out of jealousy.

I'm also fair in complexion. So by marrying a beautiful, light skinned woman, I'm not marrying up. Shey you get?

If I marry the woman I have in mind, how would any of my children not be good looking? By the standards of good look, my parents are both above average. Unless in the case of a bastard, non of my children can below average and that's the goal.

Trust me, a good looking person is a good looking person anywhere in the world. Take it or leave it.

Goodlook is the most important for me, followed by health and others.

You can't control absolutely truly but you can control to a larger extent the kind of genes you pass to your offspring.
