charlesemeka85: Faroe Islands . lol.. Something is doing the Nwakali brothers... Both showed a lot of promise at youth level but have not lived up to expectations at all.. Eguavon shouldn't call up Nwakali for the Ghana game... He shouldn't call him up at all until he start playing at his club again... I believe Nwakali has some quality that can make our midfield creative, but his game is quite limited too.. He need to work harder... Eguavon need to send a strong message that he isn't out to pamper any player.. 5 Likes |

I just dey see the bolded. How has Onyeka proved to be better than Billing? by just being in the EPL? This is only Onyeka's first season. Billing was more impressive in the EPL back then. And even now he is a Lion in the Championship. I hate to compare them but na u start am. Meliforme: 2 Likes |

JohnBullMySon: Lol.. So how come the NFF submits a budget proposal to the government anytime a major tournament is approaching? Didn't the NFF get funds from the sport ministry to prosecute the AFCON and the last world cup? I could have swore that I read it somewhere where Pinnick said the NFF needed 15 billion naira to prosecute the NFF... You are trying to pass the narrative that the NFF is self sufficient, which is simply not true... They are always owing coaches... Again, wasn't it reported that the ministry of sports were going to help he NFF pay off Rohr's contract so they could sack him? I can bet my balls that it's true..that's why Pinnick isn't opposed to the ministry suggesting Eguavon to take over the coaching job.. 1 Like |

One thing is certain. Philip Billing is not going to this world Cup. By next WC he would be almost 30 years If he wants to get more international caps at least, he should do the right thing and switch to Nigeria. 1 Like |

JohnBullMySon: What are you telling me? Please, I have worked in a State office and know the workings. You can not submit a request for a budgetary envelope from a Ministry and say you are not under them. The Sports Minister approves the funding and release. That makes them directly under the Sports Ministry. Where else do they get constant money? Are the sponsors regular? The major constant supplies come from CAF, FIFA, and Sports Ministry. 1 Like |

Mujtahida: Resource in his context doesn't refer to money alone... Like joebie said in his reply to my post, Pinnick has no business being in London trying to convince players to represent us when they can simply have people on ground to help with the scouting and monitoring... My point is that Pinnick's body language with the whole thing make it look like he isn't interested in any other aspect of our football development.. Aside the super eagles, which other part of our football team is showing any kind of progress? Even our super falcons now have an American part-time college coach as their coach..Come on! |

13large: This is the same player that many are saying is indispensable to Huesca. It's as clear as daylight, the club do not rate him at all. Even before he got back from AFCON they tried to offload him to another Segunda Division team, a league he has played in for two seasons, yet nobody wants him. He is the second to the last lowest paid player in Huesca team. Meanwhile TheGoodJoe is giving me a nonsensical narrative that he refused to renew his contract. I said about a month ago that if he doesn't buckle up ,he will have his contract cancelled anf be locked out. We now have a Midfielder Generalissimo, outstanding player who is clubless. After all the padding the NFF have done it's not worked. Do you think the club are fools I can assure there would have a pattern of Indiscipline and other antics. I for one don't believe this is his first incident . He just played AFCON and all of a sudden he sick while galavanting around in Nigeria. 1 Like |

TheGoodJoe: Why do you like to create fantasy narrative that is simply a figment of your overactive imagination garnished with over stated Favouritism and essentially comedic hyperbole. Please how will they make money off a players who is an embarrassment to the club and league. He has no value in the league. They tried to offload him for nothing before he got back from AFCON. He is the second lowest paid player in the club. Nwakali sacrificed nothing, after 4 seasons of Mediocrity he ended up in Porto B, playing youth football and even then struggling to get into the team. He didn't take a pay cut he took the very best he could get at that time. That's what he was valued at, even Huesca , took a gamble immediately after buying him they sent him on loan, not good enough. Maybe now he may find a club in Turkey or Finland or las las Warri Wolves. These are facts easily corroborated not imaginatively crested like you do. Now you will say HATE, BIAS and PREJUDICE. 6 Likes |

PurpleHouse:so a guy should keep pressing using the right word to get a yes from a girl of his choice?. This is how simping start. Whatever a man use to trigger a yes from a lady, he should be ready to continue in that route to keep her interest level up... That is the begining of hardship and unnecessary stress (trying hard to be on point all the time). In the RP manosphere, we don't act like that. Haven't you heard of this statement "women choose who they wanna be with"? Or "women choose first"?. As a man, stay on your grind and keep putting yourself first, don't say nothing. She would come around and choose you. You won't have to do anything to keep her interest level up. Na real the "right word to trigger her emotion haha". Stay on your grind! They will come around and choose you. Super eagles should focus on getting better, and all this foreign born na dem go rush us. Finito! 4 Likes |

kingphilip: The double standard, the bigotry , the hypocrisy, favouritism and blatant dissembling conceitedness that surrounds Nwakali is without measure. I had high expectations for the SE and as such felt only the very best available should be deserving. I watched how players that I haven't talked about for years where said to be ," TOO POOR" quality for the SE they were denigrated and dismissed as being abysmal. The Championship is low quality , league one is too poor, etc. I AGREED tacitly . But look at the players that are being touted as quality SE potential players, Nwakali brothers, Players in the backwater leagues of Europe, etc I will tell you this one reason that Nigerian origin players find Nigeria problematic apart from the corruption, is the double standard and hypocrisy. We were supposedly wanting Eberechi Eze come to the SE. He played a friendly indoor game to get him familiar with the SE. He was then forgotten and the Nwakali brother and others who had done nothing were invited for friendly games. Eze was ignored for years when he blew up we suddenly remembered him. I am not surprised by his Luke warm attitude. Ademola and Ovie have always wanted to play for Nigeria and despite the Lies the NFF are spewing about him being the cause of the delay. He will not contradict the misinformation it's the price he has to pay to play for the SE. You say who could have been invited instead of him , you are not being sincere. There are at least 30 players from the EPL and Championship that are better options. 1 Like |

The Truth about the Kelechi Nwakali Situation as reported by Football Espana. I called this early on another football platform with respect to the major reason being Nwakali's refusal to sign a new contract with Huesca. Huesca are just being mischievous as I expected them to be Post-Afcon. Yet the Anti-Nwakali cry babies continue to mock the lad as if this is his fault. Typical. Nigerian international Kelechi Nwakali in the midst of dispute with Huesca By Alan Feehely Nigerian international Kelechi Nwakali is in the midst of a dispute with his club, Huesca, after returning home late from the African Cup of Nations through illness as per Football Espana’s sources. The 23-year-old midfielder joined the Spanish club back in 2019 from Arsenal, whom he had joined in 2016 from the Diamond Football Academy back home in Nigeria. He’s since made 33 appearances for Huesca and also spent time on loan at Alcorcon. Kelechi missed Nigeria’s final game of the African Cup of Nations through illness and was too ill to fly home to Spain. The doctor that treated him advised him not to fly and to keep testing until his symptoms cleared. Kelechi notified Huesca about this. On deadline day of the January window Ruben Garcia, Huesca’s sporting director, tried to send Kelechi out on loan for a fee of €80k and said he wouldn’t pay the player if he didn’t find a new club. No club was willing to pay the loan fee Huesca demanded, despite interest from second-tier clubs in both Spain and England. Kelechi has since returned to Spain and Huesca have opened up disciplinary proceedings against him, suspending him indefinitely and not allowing him to come to the training ground despite the fact he provided a doctor’s note explaining his lateness. Kelechi was offered a renewal at the beginning of this season but decided against accepting due to his poor relationship with the powers-that-be at the club. Huesca, however, were keen for him to renew and now want to sack him to avoid paying him for the rest of the season. He’s currently not being played by them. The Spanish Players’ Union AFE is now involved in the case and they’ve accused Huesca of committing procedural breaches in the opening up of the case against Kelechi. They claim the club have no grounds to sack him and their behaviour constitutes gross misconduct and discrimination against the player. Kelechi is the subject of interest from several La Liga sides including Espanyol, Granada, Rayo Vallecano, Mallorca, Osasuna, Elche, Deportivo Alaves and Getafe. He’s also being monitored by several clubs in the Premier League and the Championship. komekn: You are fond of just deceiving yourself with your prejudice and bias when you are the king of it. Kelechi Nwakali could have gotten a better deal in the Arab region or China. He chose to stay in Europe and that is taking a clear cut. Things have not worked out for him, that does not mean he did not sacrifice anything. What do you think the young man was doing going on multiple loans? Playing in small leagues? He is still trying to find his footing. As long as he has not given up and still working hard, he has my prayers and I believe things will soon shine bright for him. He is still 23 years and can still get it right. 4 Likes |

TheSuperNerd: Maybe not axed, but it's quite challenging cause if this continues he'll likely not have any match fitness into the Ghana game. That's concerning. I also feel for Onyeka really. He barely played in the nation's cup and he has only featured once since his return to Brentford. |

TheSuperNerd: You cannot compare Ekong to Nwakali and you know this despite you trying to make a case here Aina also hasn’t featured since he returned from afcon if I am not mistaken Can you compare these 2 players importance to the eagles to Nwakali ? New signings don bench Ekong and he will surely play soon ,e no get as e wan be Even aina own Na sure banker ,Torino do rotate ,they are both part of their team plans and do train with their teams You cannot compare such situation to Nwakali own Nwakali is having issues that need to be sorted out .and yes he should not be part of the naija Ghana game ,he is not even a starter for the eagles ,so there is no big deal dropping him Egu and amunike will decide and not me .
