CoronaVirusPro: The case of the COZA pastor you brought up, please did the lady bring any evidence to prove she was raped? Or was it just words of mouth? Do you think the court would have declared the COZA guy guilty if they had gone to court? Actually he could have sued her for defamation of character and ask her to produce evidence of the incident I'm sure if he did that, people will start saying he is trying to intimidate her. You can't just come to the open to say someone raped you without any evidence... If it works that way, many men will be destroyed whether they commited the crime or not |

Yampotatocarrot: With evidence or no evidence, he can never go to jail. Davido can never go to jail even he shoots scores of people dead in broad day light. It will be the usual, the judiciary will friasyraye the case till everybody forgets Their are certain realms you get to in Nigeria that you can NEVER go to jail. Only God can judge one at that realm. Genitive Nnajincan never go to jail, Dangote or Mike Adenuga can Never go to jail. JJ Okocha will never go to jail. But can you say same about the Western countries? Anybody can hit jail. |

CoronaVirusPro: Not exactly correct. There are former governors currently serving jail term (e.g. Joshua Dariye and Jolly Nyame). The infamous pension funds thief, Maina, is cooling off in prison now. Yes you can say they would be comfortable in prison - but they would be imprisoned, still. Mike Adenuga would have been imprisoned if he didn't flee Nigeria during the heady days of Obasanjo... Which brings me to my real point that conditionally converges with yours... At a certain level you can only be imprisoned or bleeped up generally if you're blacklisted or somewhat 'hunted' by the power(s) that be for whatever reason. Even a whole Orji Uzor Kalu was imprisoned the other day. It took very deft manouvering, begging, and intervention from many quarters to overturn that ugly scenario. So the bottom line still, is no fight person wey big pass you. However, to meet you half way, the alternate bottom line is that what money or power cannot do, more money or greater power can do. So, the general advice for everyone is this: Man (or woman), know thyself. And respect thyself. |
