Kovacic and Ziyech’s injuries are ‘nothing serious’. They are both fine. Both picked up ‘impact’ injuries. Reece James and Hudson-Odoi are all set to return to team training today. {Nathan Gissing} 3 Likes |

I don't think Abrahmovic escapes a severe sanction. UK parliament pushing to rid him of ownership of Chelsea, freeze his funds and seize his home in London. If he truly loves Chelsea, he will sell the club to a capable hand. If not, it's most likely our club will be plunged in financial jeopardy for the foreseeable future.

raumdeuter: Stop arguing just for the sake of arguement. 10 years before Simeone, Atletico have never made top 3 in LA Liga. 10 years after Simeone, Atletico have NEVER finished outside top 3. Consistency is the key world here. 2 LA Liga, 2 Europa, 2 UEFA Super Cup, 2 UCL finals, 1 Copa Del Rey, 1 Spanish Super Cup..... This is not a flash in the pan. His consistency will make Atletico NOT to sack him even if he have a terrible season now. No be everything be arguement. 13 Likes |

donjazet: Its the way football works. Look at Dortmund before Klopp, look at how much he spent, and how much he won with Dortmund, the moment he took them midtable, he had to leave, No one was asking and considering where he took them from? Even Wenger was let go despite where he took them from, having positive netspend vs his rivals, and building a stadium |

raumdeuter: I don't understand your response. I think you've pivoted from the initial argument. Someone said simeone is overrated, you agreed with the person, saying "defensive managers" cannot sustain their pattern long term. Myself and Ibime chimed in to tell you that he is not overrated, seeing as he is currently the champion of Spain and has kept athletico competitive despite all odds. He is still on track to finish 3rd like he has done in the last 10 years and could still make the quarter finals of the UCL. I'd say he has very much sustained his success. Athletico continue to punch above their weight. They just built a brand new stadium. They've consistently sold off their best players and brought in relatively unknowns. You can't denigrate him. Again, this was your initial argument. Let's not derail from the main point. 5 Likes 1 Share
