@bolded a player who rejected playing for us at the AFCON to concentrate on getting his career on track.
you see, these things can befall anyone (not only "foreign borns" )

He didn’t rejected playing at the afcon

It was before the afcon that he asked to be excused that he needed to take care of some issues

What are you telling me?

Please, I have worked in a State office and know the workings. You can not submit a request for a budgetary envelope from a Ministry and say you are not under them.

The Sports Minister approves the funding and release.

That makes them directly under the Sports Ministry.

Where else do they get constant money? Are the sponsors regular? The major constant supplies come from CAF, FIFA, and Sports Ministry.

No bro. It is the presidency that funds through the ministry. The ministry doesn't have money of its own. Saying that is similar to saying that ASUU is striking against the ministry of labour for not paying them or that the ministry of works funds road construction.

Besides you have deviated from the point. My point is that NFF is not in charge of sports development but the ministry which has the funds. The budget you posted concours with my statement.

Lol.. So how come the NFF submits a budget proposal to the government anytime a major tournament is approaching?
Didn't the NFF get funds from the sport ministry to prosecute the AFCON and the last world cup?
I could have swore that I read it somewhere where Pinnick said the NFF needed 15 billion naira to prosecute the NFF...

You are trying to pass the narrative that the NFF is self sufficient, which is simply not true... They are always owing coaches...

Again, wasn't it reported that the ministry of sports were going to help he NFF pay off Rohr's contract so they could sack him? I can bet my balls that it's true..that's why Pinnick isn't opposed to the ministry suggesting Eguavon to take over the coaching job..
You also have forgotten our argument. Didn't I quote you with the long statement stating that NFF is not self sufficient?

I said here that NFF depends on government funds to do its job firstly. Then they get a paltry sum while the ministry gets a huge amount. I said that the job of NFF is national team and pro football regulation, while the ministry which allocates billions for grassroot development is doing nothing, apparently.

The NFF isn't the only sport association under the ministry...There are several others hag need funds too..

Kindly enlighten me, how's the ministry of sports supposed to take over grassroot football development and not the NFF?

The thing is Nff is the most active of them all, year-in and year-out

And I think there is a reason why the sport ministry is refer to as ministry of sport and youth development, while Nff is an associates of states fa, for regulating, and other aspects of football,

that of the ministry is more of development and empowering the youth, so grassroots fall on sport ministry, cos that's what majority of their budget is for,

Hope I tried

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Leicester City are yet to begin talks with Wilfred Ndidi over a new deal.

It has been claimed that the likes of Manchester United and Aston Villa are plotting summer moves for the Nigeria international.

The former Racing Genk midfielder has more than two years to run on his contract with the Foxes with the current agreement between club and player expiring at the end of the 2023-2024 season.

Manager Brendan Rodgers considers Ndidi one of the key members in his squad and the Super Eagles star is seen as a player with leadership qualities having worn the captain's armband for twenty five minutes in the FA Cup defeat to Nottingham Forest this month.

Given his importance to Leicester City, it cannot be ruled out that the club will attempt to open preliminary talks with the Nath Boys product over a new contract in the coming months.

Regarding reports linking him with Leicester City's Premier League rivals, it is understood that Ndidi has not been directly approached over a transfer.

A goalscorer in last week's Europa Conference League knockout round playoff first-leg tie against Randers, Ndidi is among the players that traveled to Scandinavia for the return leg this evening.

ASSU is a union and not a department of the government. The funding is regularly channelled through the Education Ministry.

Good to know you are gradually coming over it. Truth is that the world is a very cruel place and we have all had our various forms of challenges both in the past and in the present. One thing I know is that no condition is permanent. What you are passing through is a phase that most of us passed through. Thank God the two of us attended same secondary school so you will have an idea of the kind of background I am coming from. No condition is permanent bro and you need to stay alive to be able to change your condition.
Pray to your almighty father in heaven, he answers prayers.

The Truth about the Kelechi Nwakali Situation as reported by Football Espana. I called this early on another football platform with respect to the major reason being Nwakali's refusal to sign a new contract with Huesca. Huesca are just being mischievous as I expected them to be Post-Afcon. Yet the Anti-Nwakali cry babies continue to mock the lad as if this is his fault. Typical.

Nigerian international Kelechi Nwakali in the midst of dispute with Huesca
By Alan Feehely

Nigerian international Kelechi Nwakali is in the midst of a dispute with his club, Huesca, after returning home late from the African Cup of Nations through illness as per Football Espana’s sources.

The 23-year-old midfielder joined the Spanish club back in 2019 from Arsenal, whom he had joined in 2016 from the Diamond Football Academy back home in Nigeria. He’s since made 33 appearances for Huesca and also spent time on loan at Alcorcon.

Kelechi missed Nigeria’s final game of the African Cup of Nations through illness and was too ill to fly home to Spain. The doctor that treated him advised him not to fly and to keep testing until his symptoms cleared.

Kelechi notified Huesca about this.

On deadline day of the January window Ruben Garcia, Huesca’s sporting director, tried to send Kelechi out on loan for a fee of €80k and said he wouldn’t pay the player if he didn’t find a new club.
No club was willing to pay the loan fee Huesca demanded, despite interest from second-tier clubs in both Spain and England.

Kelechi has since returned to Spain and Huesca have opened up disciplinary proceedings against him, suspending him indefinitely and not allowing him to come to the training ground despite the fact he provided a doctor’s note explaining his lateness.

Kelechi was offered a renewal at the beginning of this season but decided against accepting due to his poor relationship with the powers-that-be at the club. Huesca, however, were keen for him to renew and now want to sack him to avoid paying him for the rest of the season. He’s currently not being played by them.

The Spanish Players’ Union AFE is now involved in the case and they’ve accused Huesca of committing procedural breaches in the opening up of the case against Kelechi. They claim the club have no grounds to sack him and their behaviour constitutes gross misconduct and discrimination against the player.

Kelechi is the subject of interest from several La Liga sides including Espanyol, Granada, Rayo Vallecano, Mallorca, Osasuna, Elche, Deportivo Alaves and Getafe. He’s also being monitored by several clubs in the Premier League and the Championship.

80k and nobody wants to pay? That’s a damning indictment on his ‘talent’. If English clubs were truly interested they will actually pay that amount

How are you bro. I followed your statements and I'm happy you got good feedback on this forum. You're on the right direction.

I'll share with you a tip. One of the ways I handle my disappointments is to review my goals and set new ones. If you don't have what keeps you looking forward, you'll keep thinking about your past. How you handle setbacks matter a lot. Identify what you like to do and set goals with it. It helps you to face forward.

Set realistic goals too. You can actually get depressed if you set to do what will be too difficult for you. You'll be fine bro.

Incidentally i was playing "Let's love" by David Guetta and Sia when. I saw your comments (Sia's lyrics inspire me, lol)

So this lyrics are for you. My little cent
I swear you're safe, this too shall pass
This too shall pass, this too shall pass
And we'll get through it all together
We'll get through it all together

As I said, it is still the Ministry of Education that funds the ASUU members. They are under the Ministry of Education. What you are trying to say is that no one works under any Ministry. No Civil Servant works under the Federal Ministry of Works, Labour, Education, Health, etc. They work for the Presidency.

They work for the Ministry. They are under the Ministry and are funded by the funds of the Ministry.

The Ministry of works fund road projects from their budgets.
