The same reason Ukraine wants to join. Why is Ukraine the only one forbidden from joining NATO? What's your solution? That Ukraine takes whatever Russia sends thier way without seeking some form of solidarity? Canada wouldn't do anything that will affect the US negatively cause the US doesn't treat them like Russia treats Ukraine. The United Nations voted massively against the US when made an even less daring move 1898. So why shouldn't we criticise Putin at this moment?

This is Putin trying to redraw the map. His Spy Chief made it clear. So he would have done this anyway. I would say the Threat of war was inevitable and not the war itself. If Ukraine had enough foresight to speed up NATO alliance, I sincerely doubt Putin would have gotten this far. Recall Macaron has stated that NATO equally posed Nuclear capabilities.

I don't want war..I saw one Ukrainian lady being interviewed yesterday and I nearly cried because u could see d pains in her.

However, truth must be said... Ukraine messed up by wanting to join Nato. America will go to war or even image a country if any country close to USA should allowed China, Iran, north Korea or Russia to set up military facilities in that country.

Ukraine is a sovereign state I agree with u. They have the right to do whatever they want. But my brother, sometimes in life before u take any decision, u have to look at the advantages and disadvantages. It's very clear that Ukraine joining NATO will do them more harm than good. They taught by joining NATO will make them stronger as to fend off any attack from Russia in the future? or will make Russia to be afraid? In this war NATO will not do anything. Ukraine was just received by the USA. In the end Russia will finish Ukraine, Ukraine will be completely destroyed, the president will surrender by giving up. Even in the dream there is no way Ukraine can match the fire power of Russia. Even the USA is afraid of Russia now.
