First, I am not pro Putin as I condemn this.

But China is not betraying Russia. Any nation who refused to vote against Russia or steps aside is just playing tricks. China and India refused to vote or say anything. It says a lot.

All of them are waiting to see the outcome of this. It's just a week we need more. The death of the Ukrainian president will e when the war will be over. The man knows too. After it, how will Russia handle Ukraine? Will Russia install it's own president there? Or will Putin be the president?

So, what will happen to Taiwan after. Will China move against Taiwan? Is Taiwan part of NATO?

Will Russia really crash due to these sanctions which I know will not? Crytocurrency is there now.

It is all over for President Putin.
President Ping of China just threw him under a moving bus.
He did not read extensively to understand China's policy of soft power.
Ukraine and Russia are trading partners of China and, as a state policy, China does not get involved with internal politics of its trading partners.
There are few books I have read about this China's soft power policy and it beats my imagination that President Putin underestimated it.

China is russia favorite alliance, in the UN security Council they backed russia indirectly by voting abscentism.

The sanctions are playing in already, if china goes against the sanctions it will be dragging itself into a war they know nothing about.

They didn't back Russia by their absenteeism vote but they want to eat their cake and have it. Stay neutral in the spotlight to keep their economy going and saliently support Russia in return favour against Taiwan & Hongkong. China is backing itself
