I don't know what to tell you, but therapy for men has traditionally proved ineffective.

Maybe we need to differentiate between TALKING about your problems and SEEKING SOLUTIONS for your problems. Or is it the same thing?

Men by default are solutions driven. If they won't get real tangible help for their problems by sharing with another, they won't bother because the whole effort will seem a waste of time. When a woman shares her problems with a man the man rushes to offer solutions, something that isn't welcome because the woman is simply sharing for sympathy and understanding, not really looking for help. When men are going through problems they won't share because "sympathy and understanding" is well and good but the problems remain unsolved and will keep nagging at the problem-solving nature of men. Hence men don't bother talking to anyone about what they're going through. Most of the times men need solutions not just to be heard. It would be better to give men the tools to solve their problems rather than invite them to "open up".

1. The world is a cold place, no body really cares about you. Even you you're after your well-being and not until you are able to cater for yourself, no one exist in your horizon.

2. Family is an outlier though, at least, in most cases, family is your last and strongest backbone. Friends and strangers may help, but family is surest. However, this doesn't means that family will always be there 24/7, but based on comparison, they will be there in both tough and darkest times.

Treat family right and make sure you build competence alongside.

3. Extrapolating lessons from religious tales, you will find out that religion is a good coping mechanism. Majority of religious adherents always have their God to rely on in their toughest moments as they already have an idea of their common enemy---Satan. So, depression and suicide is not as common with them when compared to the secular world.

Instead of looking for help where there isn't, why not "look up to heaven...help cometh from God".

4. The burden of responsibility is upon the shoulders of men, a leader complaining or sharing problem will be deemed weak by his followers.

5. Ego is inflated when a man has done something laudable and deflated when he has nothing to offer. Because of ego, and that men don't want to be seen as weak, they don't normally share their problems.

6. With modern day technology, humans are really experiencing a genome lag. Technology is fast evolving but human nature isn't. Technology is good though, but that spirit of camaraderie, that emotional bond can only be built on the physical.

7. In this modern world, it's better you solve your problem on your own than look for outside; here technology becomes an advantage. Truth be told, it is the outliers amongst men that are truly pragmatic, their successes just rob on all men. Because, on an emotional level, 99% men and 100% women are the same, both will shame you when you come for help.

8. Every man is after their own head, so don't expect anyone to ignore himself or give you the maximum help that you need. They might do for sometime, but eventually, along the road, you will be neglected. Rare are those friends, strangers and relatives that will always be there.

9. That empathy/sympathy being sort for by any man can never be achieved! Only women and children can at least have a taste of it.

What is the kind of man you want to be to yourself and to others? Start building yourself like that archetype and it will serves as a sieve to help you separate chaffs from wheats. It is the wheats that will help you. Good thing is that you can find these wheats both online and offline, though, rare.

This has really been disturbing and devastating, I initially thought there was more to his death, like a case of murder staged like suicide but I realized ppl are suffering from different mental health issues unaware to the public. As in. They are very smart about life. When things are normal it is all equal rights, feminism, talk of female leadership and female hubris, but when śhit hits the fan they will run away and willingly embrace traditionalism & leave men to do the hard work and be the sacrificial lambs. I personally had serious speech issues cause around 4 or 5 they had to operate on my throat. I had a serious stammer beginning primary school but that gradually got better and better until when I entered secondary it was maybe 20% and entering adulthood up to now its at maybe 5%. And that 5% is very manageable that most people don't even notice. It's mostly down to choosing your words. It's funny cause there are words that will make you stammer. U may Want to say something but find you just can't until you choose a different word to begin the sentence with, and boom speech is flowing. Stammering is very manageable usually.
