Biometric 22/02/2022 transferred to France embassy the next day, got message from vfs on 25/02/2022 that my application as been processed and despatch to UPS but UPS delayed the delivery of the parcel.

To my surprised I was refused

First timer traveler only travelled to south Africa

Reason: JUSTIFICATION FOR THE PURPOSE AND CONDITIONS OF THE INTENDED STAY WAS NOT PROVIDED.

I submitted everything within my power lol.

3 month Bank Statement plus 6 month payslips (my salary is N550,000 per month ) account balance 2.4m.
Work ID CARD
Employment letter
No objection letter
My degree certificates plus transcript
Hotel reservation still active till now
Cover letter with my Itinerary for 5 days
2Land documents (Deed of assignments )
Family pictures
Famiy lassra ID card
Wedding certificate
Tour reservation and paid

Etc

I attached refusal letter and the hotel reservation still active at this moment

Pls house what can we do to this justification for the purpose and conditions of the intended stay was not provided

Hello Gentlesoul,
Its a hard one but dont give up.

its a Generic reponse with incoherence. Has nothing to do with the Hotel but more of the purpose of visit / travel history.

Post Covid Era has changed a whole lot..

What is your purpose of travel?
Traveling for the first time with vacation purpose is difficult to get visa the chance are slim. If you have a business and include your CAC document with business bank statement gives you more chance than salary earner.
Conference is still the best purpose of travel and people are granted visa easily with conference or event than just visit on vacation. Take your time and rearrange your next trip

I can imagine it happens. Please take a trip somewhere else if you can possibly use same Vacation period you stated . Go and Come back , give some time then put in another application.

Like Beverlyhills said, its the Generic response when they dont feel like issuing a Visa.

Some Countries will grant you an Entry visa

The purpose of travel is tourism.

When can I reapply ?
I mine going to explain the reason why I am refused the visa in my next application?
Can I pay for tour in my next application instead of tour reservation?

Thank you mialate

I feel tired because the processing time is just 2 days and later result to refusal.

As a salary earner what's the best way for us

I suggest within 3 to 6 months to reapply
No need to explain the reason for refusal they already know
Do not pay for tour it doesn't make any meaning but if you have to pay ensure is refundable.

Don't rush it. Take a step back , this requires some planning. At the moment, France seems to be the easiest at the moment . Avoid Visa Shopping.

With the list you provided, i bet some other country will grant you easily.

Is not advisable but if you must migrate through conference is not going to be an easy thing, considering language barriers, What skill do you have ?
I met a guy from Mali in Paris and the story he told me on how he migrated with tourist visa till he got his temporary permit to when he got French passport wasn't an easy journey couple with the fact he speak French as a francophone country he came from talk more of someone who don't speak French.

Hello house for those in the UK, which is the easiest and cheapest way to travel to France. Is it through air or Eurostar?

Can some one visit France like say tomorrow and come bk the next day to London?

Then is there and COVID restrictions when one get to France from the uk?

Thank you for your responses
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Ladybii: 12:15am On Mar 02, 2022
Please gurus in the house help me

I want to apply for uk or France visa, been to the US before couple of times.

My concerns are- must I submit business and personal statement of acct. Reason I ask is sometime last month, I withdrew almost all the money in my business acct to buy goods left only about 5k, I avoided my personal because of this visa thing. Now I want to submit just personal account dont know if it's feasible .can't I use just personal acct for the visa application

2- has anyone done the above and succeeded

3- can a wife statement of account go for both husband and wife applying

4- can someone help with link to apply and book appointment date as I have been to the US before (I see there's frequent traveler and no travel history links are not the same) from my understanding if what I read here, pls correct me if am wrong.

4- do u advise I apply alone, my husband's account for now isn't good, lump sums deposited and we just acquired a property so it's down now . Or I can sponsor as mine is above 3m, with good inflow and outflow

Please help please . Thank u

Yes you can travel to any other Schengen country from france since your French visa is valid. For 4 days conference you can get less than a month visa from French embassy. Mind you if you don’t have demanding skill you will find it difficult to survive in Europe.

Sorry to ask but please was this for a student visa?
ibnquasale:
I want to use this opportunity to appreciate God and thank everyone on this thread.

I was at the embassy on Friday 3rd December 2021, got a positive response on the 8th December 2021 (3 working days) for a long stay visa

Just want to encourage as many as are still planning to apply and those already in the process not to give up.

Hopefully, I can get to share my full story soon.

Ladybiii, First have you both been to the US together?
If yes, weigh the cost of the trip for both of you and check the balance left on your account after the said trip.

If the balance doesnt look good after expense, Apply alone.
