Well look at it this way;

Do you think Pedri would be 'Iniesta' today if Koeman hadn't given him chance after chance after chance?

Don't think so!

At least he impressed with his little chance ,so do Gavi and so do Nico

Same can’t be said of puig

Your points are valid, and it's been confirmed we're not resigning him, No need wasting money since Auba might not even be a regular next season, As for haaland I just hope the board are really brainstorming and scrutinizing on the alternatives to him cause all these Isak and Jonathan David links are worrisome, Both have good technique but are not prolific strikers, If he moves to city or Madrid, I hope we get a young budding striker like arezo or Josh Sargent so xavi can work on them or Wirtz who likes barça so we can convert him from an AM/SS to one across the frontline

You don’t want isak or Jonathan David because they aren’t prolific but you want josh Sargent ,someone I will take ferran Jutglà Over

Honestly, I can't understand why Halland's talks don't sound too interesting to me anymore. I am a big fan of the big boy but I already see a lot of potentials in this our squad and really unsure how Xavi can manage them without losing them eventually.

Did you notice that Nico played the RB position during the last game when he came on for Busi? Dani went straight to the midfield amd now it's leaving me to wonder... Are we going to have another Sergi Roberto in Nico or are we going to have another traditional DM like Busi?

I know Busi is irreplaceable but since we have a Dejong that seems to know how to transit the ball from the defense to attack while partnering in the double pivot, then I think we can manage. But still, there are talks linking us to Kessie... I don't get how we'll manage all these boys that seem to be blossoming.

Let's not forget there's a Ferran Jugtla and Abde waiting to conquer the forward line as well.

Then in front, we have a Torres that I am rooting for to become a killer in no time and Ansu Fati whose fitness should be one of our priorities and all.

I intentionally didn't mention Gavi because I know he's too young to be starting every one of our matches but abeg, these boys are doing excellently and should be given time to blend well and not jeopardize their growth by going on loans or selling them with a buy-back clause.

How do all of them fit in exactly?

grin grin But seriously do you want Isak or David where you go feed them ball tire and them fit bury 2 out of 8 chances presented to them, Those guys to me are more of strikers who'll excell in a two man system not as a lone wolf in the middle, Sargent looks like he has a high ceiling in the future, I've been noting him from when he played at under-17 level, That boy's shooting and movement is good for someone his age, Since he's a backup to pukki at Norwich for now, he isn't much rated like the other two at more known teams but let's see him if he steps up to a bigger club, I just hope Isak doesn't near barca

Squad depth bro, See pep and Klopp still recruiting players despite having a superb first 11 and a strong bench, Having at least 2 players for every position helps a lot especially during the deeper and demanding stages of the season when playing in one or the various competitions, As for the Frontline, Fati hasn't been tested regularly at 9 though he has the attributes for that role and also I don't think Torres will have a striker's prolificacy in front of goal, Xavi should just continue using him as a winger that helps out with G/A as he's more comfortable running into space on the wings, That's why we need a pure 9, Make no mistake, Auba won't continue firing in goals forever especially when we jam low block teams and age is not on his side as he's 32, Kessie coming would either be as a lone physical DM or to play in a double pivot with Jong so pedri/gavi will run riot behind the striker, But truly we might lose players cause of gametime

Koeman had better not let us come for his head?

If people are talking this man should just be mute and bury his head in shame, Last season he had Messi, griezmann, a fit dembele, trincao, ansu (before his injury), Almost all the midfielders and defenders we have now except gavi, nico and Dani Alves, How many things did he achieve with it? Under this man we were playing reverse tiki taka, playing 3 CBs at the back almost continuously cause we used it to hold PSG to a draw at parc des princes, The only credit koeman deserves is introducing the youngsters we enjoy currently into the team and in a lil way giving us luuk (which he asked for alongside depay & wijnaldum), Tactics and man management wise he was a disaster

Complete failure especially in man management. All his players don't remember him fondly. He communicates poorly with them and lacked tact and diplomacy.

Though I praised him for his bluntness when speaking about state of things at the club at the time, however that didn't help us in any way I can remember.

I can't even begin to mention his tactics. No single player improved under his tactical tutelage. We regularly saw Pedri and Busquets performing much better in the national teams than in the club.

Many complained that his training methods were not at the level expected of a top, modern club.

De ligt has been a flop at Juve, I don't just understand Barca fans obsession with him, like he is the Messiah of our defence
Baddestguyp:
we don't need Pogba...
That's going backwards...
We don't need someone with high wages with attitude that causes dressing room problems

I don't really understand why we need De Ligt too...
I can't say for sure...
All I know is we need a good CB...
Dunno if De Ligt is the right choice

Though he might have exaggerated a bit, but he wasn't lying about Laporta not supporting him this season, even before the start of this season there were talks about sacking him, which Laporta never denies.

Messi,Griezzmann, were sold to be replaced by Depay and Luuk, and a lot of Barca players were injured or out of form.

so most of these contributed to our bad First Half of the season.

Laporta should recall him and sack him again. The worst era of Barcelona with Messi was with Koeman with his abysmal tactics and loathsome man-management... He had enough time to do anything he wanted but couldn't do anything except to rely on individual brilliance which most of our players weren't having until now.

I always prefered Lacazzete to Auba, i always wanted us to sign Laca to replace Suarez in his misfiring days.

Never knew Auba would fit in so well.

Laca what?

Laca belongs the depay class. Of course, not bad. But not what barca needed. In terms of goal scoring, auba is way better.

Laca is more of a mobile 9. Rarely do you get players who maintain high level playing as such.

Laporta already saw his cluelessness, so there was no point beating a dead horse. He's had ample time to prove himself despite having the best player in the world at his disposal but couldn't harness it. There was no need for us to continue to suffer

The problem with Lacazette is that he's that kind of striker that doesn't score goals. he's not that kind of striker that can thrive with wingers and him, playing a CF. But is he going to go deep to be involved in the play of the game? Definitely yes. That was one thing I really didn't see with Auba at Arsenal but he has since changed since he came and we can see the progress already. I also preferred him to Auba initially but I've since had a change of mind since 2 seasons ago.

Nico is a midfielder

So Nico player RB and alves went to the midfield ,alves of all people ,and you think Nico will be a right back grin

Calm down bro ,Nico came in at the 88th minute when he game is sealed already

Nico didn’t play as a RB okay

I didn't say he was a RB... I only expressed my concern as to if he'll be or not be another Sergio Roberto whom we all know isn't a RB but has played more minutes from that position when he was fit.

I don't know what you mean by "Alves of all people." Hasn't he played as a double pivot in midfield with busquets this season?

That said, I equally d n't know if you also noticed that before Dani was registered, Nico had also played as a supporting Rb to Dest?

As you said, the last game was already won and sealed, it was a good time for Nico to explore his DM prowess if he was any but rather Dani played in he position.

Maybe it's me been paranoid or being too careful, but I don't want these youngsters wasting away like some of their predecessors did.

Saw some of Frank Kessie’s highlight, he seems good. If the highlight is anything to go by, he’s one midfielder we gonna need!
Good with stealing the ball, smart, reads the game well and a good bully..

Sergio Roberto couldn’t make it at Barca very early like Nico because of a star studded Barca midfield ,his versatility really helped him a lot

Nico and Sergio Roberto Na different things ,Roberto wey meet prime busquets ,Xavi iniesta and rakitic

Nico is not a RB ,leave this your supporting RB talk oga ,I Dey assist you for defense no make me RB

I think it’s you being paranoid for no reason ,Nico has never played RB bros ,Na only you see that one maybe because of over Kaku

Nico has played 22 Laliga games with 15 of those game being quality game time at CM

You are same guys hailing hosana hosana now, Hope it doesn't get to the point when you will say crucify him, cricify him.
I hope so.

Back then with Messi around, we needed a point man to replace Suarez.

Laca is a point man not Auba.

And you guys sound like there's a gulf in class between them!

Before Arsenal, Auba had about 140 goals in 10 years while Laca had about 106 goals in only 7 years.

With the likes of Messi, Dembele, Coutinho, Fati what we needed was a striker in the mould of Laca to replace Suarez, not Auba.
