My husbands Visitor's record will be 3 months on the 8th of March.
Eligibility started 24th of January and someone here said he got feedback one month and ten days after eligibility started, so I am hoping it's the same in our case.

My husband sent a message to five MPs, more of them in Ontario and not a single response from them. I also requested for GCM notes and it will be one month sometime this month, I hope I get some if not all the answers I want by then.

While applying for your study permit, I hope you didn’t make an extremely strong statement in your LOE about your family staying back (assuming you mentioned them as home ties)?

If she made a strong statement about her family staying back, I would advise she gets to Canada first before applying for them.

I can't remember vividly where I read the case of someone whose SOWP was rejected because the application was done immediately after the student arrived Canada. The VO claimed that the student's LOE stated the family is staying back or something.

I am not saying this would always be the case. It might be easier to justify the change of plans, such as already missing family, etc., if the SOWP application is done after arriving Canada.

It depends on the situation that surrounds the applicant after the visa was issued and this will determine whether the applicant can put up a good statement or not.

Yes, good statement do work, but what I want people to understand is that due to the power of attorney given to these VOs, they exhibit arbitrary tendencies in most cases. Once the VO cast doubt on your motive, no amount of strong SOP will dissuade him/her from refusing the application. For the fact that somebody applied for SOWP before the spouse arrived in Canada and got approved does not mean you would be lucky like that person. Vos is different. The bottom line is that you should not give the VO any reason to doubt your bonafide.

Let me give you a senerio imagine someone got his visa in march and used spouse and kids as strong ties now in may one of the kids was flown abroad for a very sensitive surgery and the mum and the kid came back in june and the spouse with the visa applies based on that when the spouse is leaving or maybe a spouse got visa and before travelling discovered the wife was pregnant and the wife is a type that requires bed rest do you expect such spouse not to apply before he or she leaves. Different people with different senerio i believes it depends on how much the emotional sense appeals to the VO and also God factor. I have seen someone that applied when he entered canada and they still got denied and i have also see a friend that applied immediately he got visa and sent the sin and study permit via webform when he entered canada and the application got approved despite using the family as home ties

If I am using my mum and siblings as ho,e ties, do I need to attached their passport, NIN, birth cert or any form of evidence showing proof of relationship?

You can attach birth certificates for siblings and other means of identification like NIN or passport for mum.

Good afternoon guys, I’m so happy to be here. I recently got my study permit approval and I will be traveling by ending of this month. I really need your guidance on how to apply for my wife SOWP coz I intend to submit her application asap once I settle down.

So here is the situation, my wife is 11weeks pregnant now after 2 recent miscarriage and I really want her to join me immediately. What are the docs I need to submit to support her application. All her medical file like previous 2 PT test, Scan(s), series of test results before those Mc and after Mc are intact. Does our GYN/OBS need to write letter to support her application, does our hospital need to write a letter too? Do I need to increase my Proof of fund?

What is her chance of getting SOWP before her EDD?

Please I really need you guys input, so I can get all docs before I travel.

Well, no one can tell. Just put up a strong SOP and sufficient home ties for her. My interactions with some immigration lawyers have given me some clues on how the SOWP works. I want everybody to understand that SOWP is not meant to unite families as some people beieve. It is on the concept of International Mobility. International Mobility allows The International Mobility Program allows an employer to hire you  temporarily  without  a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA). This is to nake Canada fill the vacant job openings that cannot be filled due to LABOUR SHORTAGE.
Now this where the logic is. The instruction given to the Visa Officers in processing the Spousal Lpen Work Permit is based on the Canadian labour need. Your approval rate depends on the Province of destination. If you heading to Ontario, and your qualification and experience is not what is in demand in Ontario, your approval rate is low. But if you are going to Newfoundland or Quebec where they are currently facing a serious labour crisis, your chance of getting approval is high. In this situation, your wife is pregnant, she cannot work fully on arrival and the VO will see her previous natal challenges as a block to her immediate international mobility to Canada (that is, her immediate contribution to the Canada labour force). Try to put up a strong SOP for her emphasising her contributions to help the Canadian community. But if you based it on compassionate ground of her pregnancy, it may not fly

It is advisable to just forget about the whole miscarriage scenario in her application, just submit a normal application with strong SOP and I should just mention she is pregnant?

Here is lil background,
She just wrote IELTS overall score 7band, she as a Registered company with good inflow & outflow in her acct, she as a little IT knowledge as she remotely with a law firm. Can this fly?
