1. Money to support yourself (‘financial requirement’)
You’ll need to show you have enough money to support yourself - unless you’ve been in the UK with a valid visa for at least 12 months on the date of your application.

How much money you need depends on where you will be studying. You’ll need either:

£1,334 per month (for up to 9 months) for courses in London
£1,023 per month (for up to 9 months) for courses outside London
If you’re boarding at a residential independent school, you’ll need to pay boarding fees instead. The amount you need to pay will be on your CAS.

London means the City of London and the 32 London boroughs.

You’ll need to prove you have extra money for each family member you bring with you.

You must have this money for at least 28 consecutive days. The end date of the 28-day period must be within 31 days of the date you apply for your visa.

Example
If you submit your application on 1 January 2021, you’d have to show that the funds were in your bank account for at least the 28-day period ending on 1 December.

2. Course fee
You need enough money to pay for your course for 1 academic year (up to 9 months). The amount you need to pay will be on your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS).

He's not really interested in the degree as much as he's interested in relocating out of Nigeria for good. It's his exit strategy

You might want to focus on research based Masters. There's no guarantee but you might get some with tuition free grant (and if fortunate, even some stipends!).
Your research capability will go a long way.
NB: ₦3.5m is about £6300 or about £4400 (BLK)

PS: As indicated by many, you might want to search (course based or research) around the Scandinavian, Germany, Czech, Poland, Austria ... axis

Some of you only see darkness in light, how is it wrong move? Do you know how many people leave Nigeria daily with that strategy? There is no way a student in the UK will not get minimum wage job. Worse case scenario, they will meet up during holiday and the 2 years post degree they have to work and even start another masters. You no know wetin your mate dey do.

Yes Google EUROPE free tuition universities and have your pick. Especially in countries like Germany, Poland, Finland.. their master degrees are 100% tuition free for international students.

The first step is being honest with yourself. What is the purpose of your masters? Is it to come back to 9ja and struggle to get a job? Is it to just jaapa? Perhaps you already work for a company that promised a better position once you have your masters?

When you can answer the above honestly then your path becomes clearer, for example if na to come back and start begging to apply why not just get a masters from a reputable Nigerian institution?

If na to jaapa then make sure you choose a country that you know people because that 3.5 million Naira is chicken change compared to the cost of living abroad. Plenty of our brothers and sisters are stuck with no way back because they did not plan well......Make sure you're well informed!
