The original taste of indomie and coke is no longer there..

Indomie doesn't taste better like it used to be some years back.

Coke no longer feel the same. Seems like they added more water and less ingredients.

Do you have the same experience?

Sure you're right. Pepper sef don't taste as peppery as it used to be. Rodo just 2 pcs is enough for my sauce years back but now 10pcs I will cut with my hands and not feel anything.

Coke before if you drink it hours after opening it still feels thick but now drink few minutes after opening and it feels like just water, sugar and coloring

Not good for us the consumers.. We spend much to buy them. The adulteration is too much. We deserve better.

Not just the taste but the sizes! They have increased prices exponentially and reduced quantity and quality of almost all goods. The powder detergents for example have been reduced from 200g to 160, instant noodles, golden morn, refill milk etc have been reduced. Maggi naija pot reduced from 50 to 40cubes per pack, intact, the list is endless! I wonder what is the work of the standards regulatory bodies in Nigeria or are they just as useless as the p in psychology? Its a shame.

I guess the regulatory bodies are compromising their jobs with bribes. Not that they don't know the state of things, the hikes and all that.

If prices are increasing, the standards of each product should be maintained. We can't pay more and keep getting less.

I swear, I was complaining about this same problem to my bro, I thought we were the only ones who've noticed it,
Even milk, sardines, almost all breads taste like chaff, except you buy a very high quality from 2k upwards, crackers, cabin, pringles, oats, cornflakes, blue band, mayonnaise, regular milk taste like powder, I now buy n use babies milk cos it tastes a million times better, even heinz ketchup now taste like raw tomatoes

I think the best thing would be to start buying imported foreign grocery items, some grocery dealers hv them included in their food items

After seeing those items you listed, especially bread, i started shaking my head. Back in the day, they were cheaper and better.

It's about time manufacturers did their jobs right to make sure that the proper ingredients are used, and avoid cutting corners for pecuniary gains.

Customers reviews should be considered so as to bring back the tastes we're missing..

That's true. The real quality of sugar is long gone. If you were using two cubes for a cup of tea in the past, you're going to have to use times three of that now to get the equivalent quality.
