Well at this point you can only hope you are granted else she knows how to go about the Ticketing refunds.

Some airlines work out some terms within 1 year of Purchase.

quote author=Kelluz post=110914118]The person inviting me already paid for everything. Flights etc, she's the one applying online for me from france. Someone said it is not advisable for you to pay for flights until visa is issued. What do you think can be done?[/quote]

But since I have submitted with that hotel name , how can I change it ?
You can fill another form with the recent hotel you just booked, then make sure it’s the one you will be printing out for submission. Take note of the reference number.

HRprof none of us are consular or visa officer here so don't let us be like one , like i said I never travel to Schengen country or apply for any Schengen country before or travel to USA or UK or Canada before only southy I traveled too. I applied last month and within 2 days I got a response and the visa is refused.

Note: First time visa application to France and Schengen country because I never apply before

HRprof:

Is better we read and understand comment before quoting the person.
There is no way you will apply to france visa the first time and get respond within 2 days . I’m not talking of first time traveler but first time visa application to French embassy. I bet you this is not your first time visa application to French embassy or Schengen country embassy because they share information. Your first visa application takes time because they need to verify your information and store it on their database for easy subsequent visa process .
First time applicant takes between 2-3 week while subsequent application takes 3-7 days

What of the other one ? Are you sure it won’t affect it.

Please rebook with the same hotel and have atleast 1 night booking amount in your card.

Whats their refund policy like when you booked?

Some hotels always refund some amount if not all ...

Please always reserve your hotel some months before applying to avoid stories that touch. Pay at the Property option is very important. Avoid those that charge less with pay immediately options.

Third world we dont have that pick your Passport and Go Luxury...

Please book with another Atm and make sure you have up to 50k inside the card, book the same hotel or better still you book another hotel and fill up another application form?

It's advisable to booked hotel ahead like a week before you started fill the application form.

If you can still book the same hotel with another atm card without them canceling it, fine…you don’t have to fill another form.

Note - Nobody is visa officer here and non will claim that. I am here to response comment to questions based on my personal experience, if is your first time French visa application that you got your passport back in 2 days after submission then your case Is PECULIAR. Ensure agent did not apply for you in the past before this time… I’m thinking allowed NO QAMS
Based on my experience
I have applied for French visa 3 times , first application denied and the subsequent 2 was approved .
First application timeline - 2 weeks - denied
2nd t application timeline - 7 days - approved
3rd application timeline - 5 days - approved

So no ves for me I’m saying based on my personal experience and experience from others I know . We no dey quarrel

The Schengen Information System (SIS) is a highly secure and protected database that is exclusively accessible to the authorised users within competent authorities, such as national border control, police, customs, judicial, visa and vehicle registration authorities. These authorities may only access SIS data that they need for the performance of their tasks.

All information provided on every visa application is easily accessible by all the Schengen countries.

More reason why you must keep all your Visa applications clean .

Think through every Application, weigh your options before applying.

Jumping from one Purpose and Embassy within a short period of time is Visa shopping.

They know and see it, hence its easy to throw the application out.

Not true
Every embassy store applicant information on their database, in case you come again and lie about your current application it will complicate your previous one. Some country embassy even shares information like Canada and US embassy, if you apply for Canada visa , US embassy will have your information with them vis vasa

Hello Meljoe, i believe when you booked your appointment you used the submitted Application : FRAxxxxxxxxxxxxx

And

i suppose this Application with No FRA xxxxxxxxxxxx is already tied to your Appointment booking fee.

So if you fill another form wouldnt that result to having 2 applications ( 1 paid for and 1 unpaid for)

I'd suggest you book same hotel ASAP and send the hotel an email to directly confirm your stay with them.

Please how much is France visa fee, i just booked an appointment at abuja for a tourist visa and i paid 19800 .is it the same thing with visa fee?
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by AskGod07: 7:58pm On Mar 10, 2022
Some people booked appointment before filling the form ,since you will submit the application form you fill along with your documents on the day of appointment doesn’t mean if someone fill another form.

You will pay the visa fee at VFS on your biometrics day with your atm card, i think 38k plus…just have enough in your account sha.
