Assuming his drivers pay 25k without a single default, he will get 50k x 52 weeks = 2.6m.
2.6m - 600k = 2m.
But drivers will definitely default

I forgot to add. Knowing what to look for in hiring drivers is also as important as getting a good car.

Two key things that have worked for me are

1. I never hire someone I know no matter what they say or who they send to talk to me

2. I don't hire single guys. You must be married with kids.

PS: I also think that the barest minimum a driver should deliver is N27,500

If he makes an average of 4k per day, definitely can make 25k easily. Good days & bad days.

More reason to put a competitive rental , so u can have more driver demanding to work with you. Also less strain on them.

For me , an added thing to look out for is an experienced driver. (Do not mean to be rude), but if i have a car to give out , it wont really be a new driver. At least , someone with an experience have a higher chance to be more stable, and in some cases more irresponsible too… but still easier to deal with.

Imagine ur driver being caught on one way weekly.
Or paying fine for Airport taskforce.
Or not knowing best way to talk themselves out of road safety and police (with a little token at times).

Those things matter o

100% agree. I was going to say *as important as getting a good car* in the post you quoted but made a mistake.

I took a gamble on one who was a new driver and it has paid off so far but the beginning was rough.

It was as if I was the one driving because I had to tell him where and where not to go, who and who not to pick, and a host of other things.

These days the only thing I hear from him is his alert cheesy

I understand most car owners do not have that time nor knowledge I had to mentor another person so its always a good idea to get someone with experience.

PS By new driver, I meant someone new to bolt and not an inexperienced driver.

100% but we still need to give newbies the chance to learn the rope. Some single guys are far better off than most married guys.

Your best bet is a graduate and one with focus and good conscience and also a good knowledge of Lagos environ, street wise and hard working.

I trained a single guy and today he's doing great, though at 1st he encountered a lot of troubles and challenges and was calling me here and there everyday but today he hardly calls for months now unless he has some challenge with his partner or when he wants to pick a new car.

Matrix trust you're doing great
