Belarus is viewed as an ally of Russia in the Ukraine war by NATO and the West in general. Nigeria condemned the invasion of Ukraine at the last UN general assembly in February ignoring it's neutral status so I ask, what are the implications of selling military hardware to Belarus by Nigeria at this moment ? It's a good deal under different circumstances but seeing as we've taken a stand against Russia and these vehicles will definitely be used in Ukraine, Nigeria should be careful before international sanctions are slammed on us because we have no bargaining power

All over the world, it's private businesses that runs factories and companies, the fact of the matter is, it is a company in Nigeria, source lots of it's materials in Nigeria, it helps Nigeria earn foreign exchange, government earns revenue/taxes and royalties from such company, it employs and help in training lots of Nigerians. The government must just ensure they have an head office here, and that they domicile funds here, to grow our economy, and as time goes on, government must cajole them via economic policy, to join our stock exchange, so more Nigerians buy into it. Government control everything via economic, fiscal and monetary policies. We need more manufacturing companies domiciled in Nigeria. Nigeria too uses a lot of these equipments, at least we won't be sending our money out, or buying dollars to pay for such expensive goods from the West. Appreciate good for your country, don't be negative.
