Should I include stamps to Dubai & Rwanda or the want just sticker visas ?

They don’t need stamp visa only sticker visa , first time I applied for French visa I added my Ivory Coast visa stamp copy it was remove at the VFS when accessing my documents before collection. I was told is only sticker visa they collect. Still you can go with it if is not needed they will tell you .

Please how many days does it take for first timer processing. Submitted on the 11th of this month.

It is normal to stay this long as the first time applicant before now it takes 14 days or more to process first visa application but recently some people said their first application came out in 2 days with denial lipsrsealed I wonder when they look at the application but for your own case is a good sign it might come out positive.

I have but still need me to input card information. Even after trying to input the details now saying insufficient money in the account.

Does it mean I'll be debited?

Ideally, they will hold the first night charge which you get back once you cancel. There's also the no prepayment option. Are you going to France? If yes, which city? I could check booking.com and share some names with you.

You have a work permit, you are resident in SA. Check what the requirements are for a permit holder in SA and do accordingly.

Requirements by country differs...

You are welcome. From my experience, the Attestation d'accueil and other documents didn't hold weight.

Your Friend is sending you and your family an Invite and you have spent Millions?

Mmmm.... this friend though.....

The French resident hosting you will need to obtain this ‘attestation d’accueil’ from their local Mayor’s office, and send you the original attestation.

Honestly, it was when they started asking for 170euro per head again for insurance that ( I mean my family friend and the French citizen whom the Attestation was issued in her name) that I came back to my senses that something is not right, which is why I remembered NAIRALAND. I think we have been scammed because they have started threatening that if we don't pay 170euro again per head for insurance @ the rate of 630naira/ euro, that all the payment we have made so far will be forfeited. Thankfully, we know the friend family house here, so the next step is to ask for a refund. I'm so confused at the moment.

Praiseola, there is no confusion here.

Request for a Refund if any because at this point, its a different story.

Book your hotel, put your documents together and head to VFS Global.

Please let's all be very careful , a lot of desperate people out there with promises of getting you this and that whilst they are still here in Nigeria with us.

If they had that much connection why are they still here preying on Innocent people.

Let's Cultivate the habit of READING , everything we want is online... Someone somewhere has or have had the situation you are in ... there's Nairaland, there's Quora.. etc

Godspeed.

I just completed the form but sadly the earliest date available is on the 19th of April. I thought I would have gotten earlier dates

I beg your pardon. This has nothing to do with Japa syndrome and just because I am going to try Schengen Visa for the first time does not mean that I have not lived abroad before and It can happen to anybody. I am here to seek advice from reasonable people who know better, not the other way round. quote author=HRprof post=111294241]
