But what will happen to those criticizing Tinumbu at the slightest opportunity on Nairaland IF he eventually became Nigeria next president? |

I’m not his fan but he donated ( from his loot or state treasury or personal money ) to education, God bless him . But how can a former governor be represented by a serving Deputy Governor ? Or is the deputy Governor, he’s errand boy ? Ok, Lagos State is answerable to him , if you don’t do that , you are a goner . That’s why I love my tribe . Igbo enweghi Eze , if it’s too much on your body , we change it for you immediately. Igbo bu Igbo ... kwezuonu !!! His godfather type get level . That’s one of my anger with him . Apart from been sick , and I wonder what he forgot in government or what he will offer again. So he claimed to have the golden economic template and he couldn’t give it to his party APC and Buhari, and his sons Rauf , Fashola , Osibanjo , Adesina who are in government for them to turn this country for good . It shows his selfish . He wants to answer messiah or fulfill his dream of becoming President. Time will tell . On Peter shall Nigeria stand . |

lexy2014: The fact that he tries to paint him a bad person is not HATE? This man do no one wrong. I might not like many things about him, but politics of hate is what I don't like. People should come out with their manifesto n not speaking ill of each other |

lexy2014: Lol you people make me laugh. Tinubu is never my mate at anything yet my own personal experience of being able to make considerable money from multiple income streams of businesses and investments shows that Tinubu would be a failure, for his business acumen and all round investments/financial brilliance, if not very rich. The man is a genius. All I have in common with him is a zeal to see the big picture, think big and think strategically to then turn all that into considerable money/success for myself and family to enjoy. If I can do it then only losers and mischief-makers who will forever struggle in life like you ( not cursing you but stating obvious reality ) think simplistically that Tinubu is rich because he just goes wherever Lagos money is kept and stuffs cash yafun yafin into ghana-must-go bags. The man would be similar to George Soros (bet you don't know him) or at least Dangote, Adenuga, Otedola, Oba Otudeko etal if he had faced business and investing all his life and had not gone into politics. I just shake head reading what people like you write because I see the curse of being an ignorsnt follower and loser who must always envy/despise, rather than learn from, innovators, leaders and those with the special ability to think outside the box and see life clearer to the benefit of their personal wealth and success https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2022/01/16/tinubu-and-the-money-factor/amp/ But there was another moment over a decade ago when Tinubu just left office when Professor Soyinka paid tribute to Tinubu. He was not joking that time, although he leavened it with his usual joke. It was in reference to the exile days in the tumultuous NADECO era when their lives were in danger and they had to look for ways to fund the onslaught on the illegitimacy of military junta. They would not leave office even after they had stolen a democratic mandate. 1 Like

Dapinski: Sorry bro. But u haven't answered my questions: Tinubus political career began in 1992, that is 20years ago. Let's assume he retired from ExxonMobil as an accountant in 1992 in order to pursue politics. So how much did he make as an accountant that he now has 1billion naira to dash in 2022? Pls what are his "investments spread all over the country"? 1 Like |

qekng40: God bless you for the first three sentences you put up there. Saying the truth has never been a guarantee of ones safety. So, we might as well just say it , anyways. @ emboldened, that's why a sitting deputy governor will represent a man (Tinubu) who isn't currently holding any political appointment (APC national leader is ceremonial, IMO) because of his financial strength. It's not normally supposed to happen. But it's Lagos State, so... And his die-hard supporters will not get the message here, and just resort to insults. 1 Like |

lexy2014: Maybe you have comprehension issues. Read again slowly and take your time. Per his investments, google is your friend and can save you making a fool of yourself if you will indeed bother to read and do so carefully. Even the article I provided showed you one of his "investment", over 20 years ago, and "spread all over the country". No disrespect but it it obvious why many Nigerians are not rich and successful and are ending up in Libya, Ukraine etal to then be cursing the likes of Tinubu for "ruining" Nigeria when the fact is that most Nigerians are unproductive, 'unteachable' and 'blunt' human resourcess themselves who contribute zilch to the growth and development of Nigeria. Look, for example, at the ignorance you're showing especially by asking question the article provided gave you answers to already? Not telling you the man is a saint but it is only a dunce that would not understand Tinubu has the acumen, brilliance, George Soros-type vision and problem-solving skills to be a rich and successful man anywhere in the world when lesser folks manage the same with ease.

Nigeria is finished. How will an individual doing nothing but politics and with claims that he owns no company attached to the Lagos State Government donate N1 Billion? Where did the money come from? This country is finished. The respective anti corruption bodies will only look away and pick up just the lesser criminals. 1 Like 1 Share |

Orangeburger: Irony is that they will never confront their own leaders who are the real thieves, looting their commonwealth and giving them nothing in return, to leave them all scrambling to relocate to Lagos in their thousands daily. That is the power of racial/ethnocentric and sectional hate on display here daily from so many. |
