Remember, this is you twisting and spinning what engineered Will’s action, it’s and was never a fact that it was his wife’s reaction that made him punch Chris.

He laughed, possibly because he didn’t get the joke on time. We all can relate, we sometimes laugh even before we get jokes during events.

Now let’s say your “ASSUMPTION” is true, was it wrong of him reacting after it got his wife pissed?

Regardless of whether he got the joke on time or not, I feel the slap was an overreaction. Could've stepped up and told Chris (whether in person or publicly) that he didn't appreciate him making jokes about his wife's medical condition. No need to get physical. I won't judge him anyways; people react to things differently.

But if that assumption IS true, if he did get the joke and if he did laugh after getting the joke, it makes it even worse. It means he slapped Chris not because he felt the joke was bad, but because his wife didn't like it, even though HE liked it.

It's wrong. You do it offstage if it offends you. Go to any comedy club, most comedians just pick on people in the crowd and make jokes at them

When a joke offends you just try to laugh it off, then it will never stick or it will just die off.
when you are trying to react that is when the joke takes a life of its own and become real.
