I do same on my open wound and scars.
First 5days after using I will peel the surface then reapply for another 5days it will reduce in size. Make sure the paste is twice a day. Or cover it with tomato and use very light cotton wool on it let it dry on the wound , it will heal fast.

But I don't know if sprinkling the capsule on it would dry off the wound, thereby healing it.

I am open to any other suggestion that would prove effective.

Why were you using a steroid(Triamcinolone) on an unhealed wound?

Who prescribed that for you?

Steroids delay wound healing, and should be used only after a wound has satisfactorily healed.

No my chief, pharmacists are not doctors. It is a doctor's duty to prescribe while the pharmacist dispense. Hence, the OP should visit a nearby hospital or clinic. Back to the issue, it is wrong to pour powdered antibiotics on an open wound. Powdered Antibiotics is to be taken orally not topically. When you pour powdered antibiotics on an open wound, the powder would become dry and form a crust over the wound thereby providing a suitable environment for microbial growth which may hamper healing process. The fact that you've used it in the past and it worked does not mean it's appropriate. If at all you must administer a medicine externally to a wound, it should be medicines indicated for "Topical use" example GV, Oxytet spray etc.

Give it time

Use rotten pepper joor.But before then, burn the spot with red hot knife and red oil.

That kills the injury and it will dry it up within a week.

Btw, why do you say so? Is it because of the light skinned area around the scar, if yes, it's simply because of the countless steroid injections that have been administered on the scar.

Steroid injections (Tetramicinolone) tend to make the skin more soft and light skinned compared to other parts of the body.

Ampicillin is an antibiotic. Your sprinkling it on the wound is to prevent bacterial infection not healing

When you tamper with a hypertrophic scar it only gets darker and bigger ...don't pick it again.
