Hi, To be honest, I am expecting a very large lump sum in my account because it's a loan though it won't show in my bank statement that it is a loan. Is there anything in particular I can say in my SOP to explain why it is so? Do you have any concrete reasons I can say why I have a lump sum? Any idea will be highly appreciated. imarrpopson:
This so called agents ehn. You can try the countries in the EU(especially the small countries that don't share details with Canada).
You can also try UK too, but them go put eye for your file since they'll have the details of your Canadian ban. I heard a story of someone who got banned by Canada and got a UK visa(or UK ban, Canada visa. I don't really remember).
Please for your next application to any country, do it yourself or be more involved in the application. And get genuine statement of accounts too. |

Hello Jacklens Biometrics comes hours after the submission of A VISA APPLICATION FOR FIRST TIMERS.. There is nothing like upfront Biometrics, which means you cant do biometrics until when IRCC gives you a go ahead as regards your biometrics, and this only happens after the submission of your study permit application.. Peace Jacklens: I need some clarifications: Can someone book for Biometrics before submitting or immediately submitting application before IRCC sends notification?

Facts about my SOP (7 pages) • I called it Letter of Explanation (That is what I saw on the IRCC portal). • It was written by me within 3 weeks, with the help of the Almighty God. Contributions were made by my husband, 2 student already in Canada, I also got a contact from Nairaland, already in canada whom I sent it to for review and he shared an SOP (an extract) with me. I added somethings from the extract to my SOP. • I used this format: Introduction, Academic background and Work Experience (BSc. Biochemistry; completed 2008, MBA; completed November, 2021 and 10years work experience), Why I decided to study the course, Career aspiration and Volunteering experience (I added my volunteer experience because I read that it is appreciated), why school of choice, Why Canada, Proof of Means of Financial support (I created 2 tables, one showed expense and the second table showed amount available; Rella; OJC group also affirm this format when I shared with her). I had 2 lump sums: 7.5M from my co-operative savings which was transferred to my account on 04.01.2022 and my husband transferred 5M to me; a day before I submitted my application (I contacted @TheGabby; OJC group who advised that my husband should transfer it and not leave it in his account) • Home ties: Family ties and Economic ties - My husband and Children, my professional membership and responsibility, aged parent (my mum will take care of the children to enable me focus on my studies and not be distracted), prospect of the course I’m going for and increased earning power when I return, Impact on Africa Continental free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
Stages of Anxiety • Medical Update: Feb 3rd IOM, but was not updated until Feb 23rd. This took long compared to the timelines I’ve being seeing (I did not receive mail from IOM after medical, so I contacted them and they sent my result and informed me that it has been forwarded to IRCC). N.B: NO Webform was sent until it was updated. • Passport sent to Abuja: When my passport was delivered by DHL to VFS for stamping on the 28th March, 2022, there was no acknowledgement email, I had to mail them before they sent my tracking number (4 mails was then received within few minutes intervals). Whenever I track it on the VFS site, the same message (application is under process at the IRCC office) is what was displayed for 4days. On the 4th day (31st March, 2022), I sent a mail to VFS Abuja to let me know the true status of the passport sent to them for stamping. Few minutes later, I received a mail from them stating that decision envelope has been dispatched (different message from what is shown when I track it on VFS Portal). About 3 hours later, I received 2 emails that the decision envelope has been received from VFS, Abuja at CVAC, Abuja and has been collected from CVAC, Abuja. (I checked my IRCC portal and Counterfoil just updated; No email received from CIC) • Passport picked by DHL from VFS Abuja on the same day; 31st March, 2022
How I coped with the anxiety • I prayed to God (I’m a Christian) • I surf nairaland for any info, a lot of screenshots to read over and over again • OJC group chats
Note: I decided to do it myself because of the experience I had with a college admission gotten through a popular person/company on Instagram offering a free admission processing (but high exchange rate for application fee). When I got access to the application, he used an unknown person as my next of kin and included unknown number as my next of kin contact. I changed it on the portal and when I complained, he said it doesn’t matter. I was shocked and right there, I made up my mind to secure another admission (University) and apply for the student visa myself which I did with the help of the Almighty God.
It has indeed ended in praises.
To all PPR hopefuls, I wish you all the best and to those keeping all the do-it-yourself platform active, thank you so much. 4 Likes |

Jacklens: I need some clarifications: Can someone book for Biometrics before submitting or immediately submitting application before IRCC sends notification?
Technically, you can book for biometrics before you get the instructions from IRCC but you won't be able to go for the biometrics without the instruction letter. So, it is almost pointless booking early. |

Go to your WES profit and click on the one evaluated using ECA, click upgrade report, click education, click continue, select level of education you are pursuing, select "change Each to standard course-by-course evaluation" then follow the rest. That's what I did to gain admission last year too. All the best. Samtob4life: Good afternoon
Please how do I request for my document by document academic transcript from WES?

If you use your business account as POF, it means you'll have to explain why you are doing it. In advanced countries, they don't expect business owners to dip hands in business money because they are the owner. Business money isn't your money. promo4: Hello guys, please I need advice on how to go about this, I'm a bit worried and confused right now based on my POF.
Scenario 1
So, my tuition for 1 year is 13000cad. Living expenses is 10,000cad by default. I have 20,000cad available from my business and 200,000naira available on my salary account with good inflows too. My first semester tuition is 7000cad. Should I pay for my first semester tuition and do my visa application with what I have now? Or
Scenario 2 Should I wait to end of April to add more funds from my business to make it 23,000cad, Salary account to 500k, Pay for first semester tuition and then apply by first week of May?
Scenario 3
Should I just apply with the POF I have available now without paying for first semester tuition fee?
Scenario 4
Should I just defer my admission and save up at least 50,000cad to have enough money for my POF before applying again?
Thanks and appreciate your responses.
NB: My business is consistently bringing in money every month passively and I have a good salary job.

If you submitted clear bank statement, I don't think they'll ask you for an updated statement again. The IRCC cannot ask your bank to verify account balance outside the dates you submitted to them. Keep calm pixzy: Hello good people on this forum . I’m a bit worried about my situation currently
I applied Feb 2nd Biometric feb 11th Medical request 23rd March Medical 30th March and updated as Passed on 1st April .
Currently I’ve paid for 1st term totaling 9,020 cad and my POF on personal account as at when I applied was 6.7m but currently my account is less than 2m. I’m worried because I don’t knw at what stage POf review is carried out . What do you guys think |

Nah. Don't be like that. People will only respond to what they have correct answers to otherwise they might be misleading people. Also sometimes the people who have answers to your question might not have been online for a long time and to go back and read every single post might be hard unless you mentioned them. Questions are still being answered here everyday. I realized it's not totally agent's fault. Nigerians love shortcuts and "miracle". Between yesterday and today that I posted my PPR update, several people have contacted me to give them contact of the registered agent I used. No less 5 of them asked me if the White Man can help them with POF . I asked them if they want him to cook it from the Skye, they said agents have their way. I gave up. Lots of people get happy when agent tells them not to bother about bank statement and sponsor that they have it covered. How can someone have your life covered without you asking questions? imarrpopson:

Dear Gurus in the House,
Please I am planning to submit an application next week for study permit. My concern is about the form IMM1294E section about employment in the last 10 yrs. I have worked for many organization and so the, space provided is not enough to detailed all my past experience.
Can I just fill the 3 slots allotted or do I fill just the work section again using another batch of the form? Also, since the application is online and based on the questionaire response form will be provided for one, I do not need to fill the check list document form right?
Thanks |

ShowYoung: No shaking, your account statement as at the time you submitted is all that will be used to assess your eligibility. Banks do not have legitimate authority to release your bank statement to IRCC other than what you have released. They can only ask banks to verify whether or not the documents you have presented is genuine. If you had used MBS, IRCC will only be shown the period you have asked the bank to show.
Only on rare occasion will IRCC call you for updated POF or interview.
It is always risky to significantly tamper with your POF until PPR is delivered. Often times, you still need it at your POE.... |

Dear Teeunz,
What the VO is looking at is the relationship between you and the sponsor, and why the sponsor would be willing to pay for your education, so you have to draft your SOP to address those concerns, put yourself in the shoes of the VO and come up with questions that he or she might have and answer them in your SOP.
All the best. Hello, please I have a question: If the sponsor is a lecturer and his salary is about 200k per month. Money (950,000 to 1,400,000) is been paid to the sponsor account every week or 2 weeks. Does the sponsor or the applicant have to explain the sauce funds in the SOP ? What’s the best way to boost an account for proof of funds. Thank you. |
