How is Ghana average? You need to check your dictionary to know the meaning of lost? The SE didn't lose to Ghana!

Our entire defense is crap ?

Aina sanusi Ekong Balogun crap ?

I am sure our defense cost us the World Cup

Our defense is crap.

Of the four, only Zaidu and Balogun even play at all for their clubs. Balogun plays in Scotland.

Imagine having such a defense come up against players like Haaland and Mbappe. I remember how Salah violated Zaidu in UCL group stages.

Senegal, for example, has a back line of Ballo-Toure, Sabaly, Koulibaly and Diallo. Diallo plays for PSG, Koulibaly is the best defender in Serie A and has been for years. Ballo-Toure is at Milan, Sabaly at Betis. These are guys that play against the best attackers daily for their clubs. Funny enough, this isn't even a world class defense, so what will you now call ours?

Some of us have big dreams about SE players, but we have to accept reality. Our players are really not good enough.

We did lose a World cup slot to them. Whether we lost by 10-0 or by away goals, it doesn't matter.

Sabaly didn’t play at the afcon ,he just returned back from a long term injury

Liverpool beat porto suddenly zaidu is a very bad player ,I don’t know what brought club football to national team ,you must be so confused ,David alaba is a very poor player because Barca violated him ,most of you guys are very funny ,I am sure you are a livescores merchant and speaking out of anger

Diallo is a confirm bench warmer at Psg remember ,not saying he is a bad player sha

Thanks for revealing your beer parlour style

Your defense didn’t cost you the World Cup but here you are capping

Which best attacker has sabaly and ballo toure played against ? You just exposed your poor knowledge about the game because of anger ,you won’t even blame the right players because of sentiments

Rest man as you know nothing about football ,you can keep disgracing yourself as few others have been
doing ,most of you are worst than the comments I do read from complete sports to crack me up grin

Football is a game and nothing is guaranteed even with the best players in your team. Disrespecting the players shows how low life such an individual is! Not everyone will be at the world cup. Only 5 out of 54 is going. The boys did their best unfortunately a goalkeeping howler, injuries and VAR denied them. There are many more World cups to come. Let the boys rest! Abeg!

Average? Well, the “average” team is going to the World Cup. Ghana cannot and has never been an average team. cool

If you contest the fact that the current crop of super eagles players are very average then you are the one guilty of beer parlour analysis. Did you follow the super eagles during Afcon 94 or Atlanta 96? and even Afcon 2000 If not please watch their clips and go back and watch the Ghana/Nigeria playoffs. This is the worst Nigerian team I've seen. I had emphasized that the defense was filled with people that haven't played football for the past two months except saidu and bassey. But the defense isn't the reason Nigeria lost. The reason they lost to a very weak Ghanian team was due to the clueless decisions of the coach, the goalkeeping (no professional goalkeeper should had been scored by a direct ball he could have simply kicked away), and the midfield. He didn't feature any creative or attacking midfielder and at a point fielded four attackers at a time. Who does that in modern football? Ghana wanted it more and hired premier League and bundesliga based technical advisor and coach respectively. These are just facts. Nigeria didn't do her homework and expected to wni. I had earlier predicted Nigeria's loss not that I wanted my country to lose but was only being objective, as a realist I have deceiving myself .
Between the Senegalese team totally outclasses the Nigerian team in terms of stars. That's why oliseh has predicted that they may win the world cup even though I don't see them topping their group. They will compete with Qatar second for place in their group. And definitely an African team won't win

Pride no go let them use Ghana players as example and praise them

Na Senegal players he Dey use ,Ghana qualified for the World Cup with players not up to the level of our players ,but no Na Senegal players dem wan use Dey compare for here and praise

Someone will think it’s defensive error that make us to qualify for the World Cup ,instead of him to talk about midfield attackers he is talking about the defense ,telling us how salah violated sanusi at the champions league as if champions league was part of our World Cup qualifiers or sanusi was the one that did the error that made us not to qualify for the World Cup

Big clown .

Which team in Africa has the quality of our midfielders man to man? Bonke, Ndidi, and Onyeka got injured. Iwobi suspended! Etebo haven't played 90 minutes in a year.
Yet we only lost on away goal rule.
Tell me a country that can survive that number of injured midfielders.
We have quality players playing in some of the best league in the world. If you say our players are average then no country in Africa has good players!

Lol. What do you mean "man to man"? Is football a team sport or a one man show? If we should go by your analogy, Ivory Coast was to win the 2021 AFCON because they actually have Africa's most quality squad! What do you mean injured midfield?! When they were there, what did we achieve. Man we got average players whom we can combine to make a plucky team which would be had to beat but we lack coaching.

We should aim to have a strong squad who fights as a unit not to have one or a few star players.

You see how Denmark played at the Euros? The spirit and Pasśion displayed? That's how I want the Super Eagles to play at the next AFCON. As a unit. No notable stars. Everybody knows his role, no one will be too big for the team. Everybody cover for each other and stick with the game plan and objectives.

what I admire most about him is his intelligence.
Boss, any update about Onyekuru

Club and player evaluating future.

He is not injured but club looking to safeguard him (value and injury-wise) for whatever situation in the summer.

Onyekuru though now wants to remain in Olympiacos unlike last year.

Football doesn’t work like that

Because a team fail to win the next afcon then you should chase all the players away

Make una Dey cool down at times ,other teams self ni come sell garri

Maybe England should stop calling all the players that took part in the last euros because they failed to win the tournament,or the Spanish team should drop all their players because they couldn’t win the euros

Make una Dey watch Wetin Dey commot for una mouth at times

Iwobi is playing an orchestrator role, if he can master this role perfectly, with his nice workrate, then we are gonna be seeing a different version of iwobi, his passes were just so on point.

Try to practice what you preach

Naija failed to qualified for the World Cup then suddenly all Aribo games for the eagles beans bad grin
