cheesy So the real part time driver according to 7309 and bazoo is expected to have 0.00 naira on his dashboard. That you’re driving part time doesn’t mean you won’t earn. Infact I work twice as hard because my days are limited.

Have more turn over you say?
So your more turn over means more kirikita?

Airport guys don't run Kirikiti around lagos before they make something for themselves, hence why you would never hear them divert into e-hailing.

IMO, more run around doesn't relate to more earns but more depreciation of your vehicle and YOU!

Lolzz.
I'm usually free from 4pm to go online.
But any time I check my map around that time, the traffic I dey see for this Lagos dey shock me.

Since they closed apongbon bridge, V.I, Ikoyi and Lagos Island always have mad traffic.
Ikeja own is even worst.
You can't go anywhere from surulere in the evening without passing through heavy traffic. So I rather stay back.

Don’t let them confuse you
Kanuisagoat and viking07 are in thesame league.
They are part time drivers but check the rides completed on the average with a full time driver you will be shocked.

Since I’ve been driving I never qualified for their health insurance. But trust me part time kanuisagoat qualifys month in month out. Maybe there is a strategy to that too grin

That abuja base Viking will queue for fuel all night till morning and still complete trips more than full time drivers next day.

I’m just saying ooh

Ask donfortune48 for his dashboard you will know real part time driver grin grin grin

God bless Felicity001, professor of department of hoodlums001, who has produced many graduates till date.

Bullion90:
Truly ehn once you take your time and read through people’s experience in this forum, you would always pick one or two skills/lessons.. Na so I set out to work around 4am…it was approaching 8am and all I had made on bolt was getting close to 10k. I got to freedom way and u know dat the traffic light at d turn is two..I crossed d first when it was yellow and about turning to red. Na so lastma come wan arrest me..telling me to open my windows and trying hard to open my door….remembering one of felicity’s experience Na so I no gree wind down or open door…two lastma officers came to join the person trying to arrest me, but I still stood my ground looking at them as they tried making me give them access
Finally traffic light turned green…cars in my front don move Na so I reason to do hoodlum driving as most drivers here….i started moving d car and the lastma officer standing in d front of d car got that feeling say if em no comot from dere I go clear am…Na so God save me from dem o…Omo na unto say I broke I even head out to work in d first day ..make I come dey find way to borrow money to pay lastma
Funny enough rider wey I even wan go pick still cancel the ride on getting to destination..Thanks for sharing ur experiences as e don teach me one or two…

Just shut up Dru and go and sit in the gutter. I only raised a legitimate alarm about the downside of driving for too long. It's a health risk and a killer. You could have countered it by stating how much of fun and luxury it is driving for 12hrs daily than using me as a basis of your stupid comparison between the rich and the poor. Do you really know me from anywhere to make that type of silly conclusion?

You really seem to me like a stark illiterate. Firstly, yellow cabs don't put in the number of hours that uber drivers do, that's why they outlive the business and come out unscathed. Can a yellow cab go from Admiralty way to Freedom way? They will rather advise you to walk, take a bike or bill you mightily if they have to. You meet them on the road, they don't pick people up from their houses and if they have to, it attracts additional cost to the reasonable fare that they charge. They don't run kitikata in all the holes of Lagos like uber drivers do. That's why these age long airport taxis will never sign up for uber because they only need one or two trips a day to meet their targets. How's the madness of doing uber the same with that of cabs? What the heck are you even talking about? How did yellow cabs make that transition to uber? Do you have proof of what you are saying?

Again, what makes you think that rich people worked themselves to death before they made it? Read a little about John D Rockefeller, Mark Zuckerberg, and a host of other billionaires, dead or alive to have a clue.

Always think before you talk next time and stop making yourself look very ignorant.

I'm for hard work but working smartly and wisely is what stands you out not beating your body to death.

I am sorry to say but this is all thrash.

What of people who have been driving trucks for decades and retired and lived healthy lives? Both here and abroad people drive for a living and retire with gratuity. They have vacations and and go on working leave for a few weeks in the year and back to the road. Why haven’t they gotten blind or lame?

You guys just come here speaking stuff you haven’t verified or that hasn’t been proven scientifically in any way and lead people astray for no reason.

Okay, those bankers that started working from age 25 and retired by age 55 and sit down at their desks from 8am to 4pm between breaks of an hour max why haven’t they become lame yet? Or are you saying that all chairs in offices are more comfortable than chairs in cars?

See my people if you don’t take care of your health even if you sleep 24hrs a day you’d get ill and surely have bed sores.

Anybody saying those that drive for a living will get ill health in their old age specifically because of it IS A VERY GIANT LIAR!!!

quote me anywhere

Sometimes it's best not to reply certain calibre of people. Do you drive on Uber or have an office job? Doubt it. I do both myself. I still actively drive and I also have a full time job. Between sitting in the office and driving, I know which is a much much more harder job to do as far as Lagos is concern. I speak from an informed perspective, not just blabbing.

First of all, google is your friend. But if you are looking for a more scientific evidence, you can use yourself as a specimen for this experiment and for the purpose of this discuss. Drive 12hrs daily on Uber and Bolt for six months in Lagos, see if your leg is not seriously hurting and your movement when you walk have not drastically changed. Check if all is well with your general well being. Then continue again for another two years. Let's see if an ambulance will not take you to your final resting place when you are done with this experiment.

Okay, so today I ordered for battery online, and it was delivered at home. Original price of battery was 26k but seller says they buy old ones and deduct the money from the price of the new one, luckily I had 2, so 6k was deducted and I ended up paying 20k. I don't know if anyone sees this as a good deal? (See image below)

@Northbird: strangely car didn't overheat after installing the new battery, weird. Will continue to test run and see.

Chai!

Yes I drive on ehailing and yes I have an office job. In fact I have driven interstate hummer buses and Toyota Sienna in a transportation company for years in the past and I have far more experience driving and handling vehicles than you ever have. I can wager any amount on my experience driving being far greater than yours.

I put it to you that YOU sir are BLABBING. Is Lagos the worst state to drive in? Do you know there are other countries with crazier traffic than Lagos? In your myopic mind you believe the madness on the streets of Lagos can’t be rivaled anywhere else in the world right?

I have driven straight 10-15hrs journeys at least 4 times a week, every week for 2 years straight on our federal highways after that I have done ehailing full time in two different cities since 2018 and I still have my active accounts till today. I currently have an office job with a table and chair and drive occasionally whenever the spirit moves me yet I tell you that I am not using eye glasses or a walking stick today. This is myself as the example you spoke of.

Believe you me, I am definitely not the caliber of person you’d want to engage in myopic banter on here my man. Your so called experiment is what I have lived through for years in my past so you are in no position to tell me what I already know.

You can keep doubting for all I care, unless you’re ready to set money as a bet so we can display our credentials for everyone to judge then I am definitely done with you.

No worry with time you'll understand better.

For the now you're dping well.
Keep it up.

Remember, in all you do be civil in your partnership with your car partner, take loyalty out of the deal... It doesn't pay and won't pay you.

Everybody is a predator
Don't be the prey but play your part well with conscience.

Among all my partners not a single one can look at me in the face today and talk to me anyhow cool why because I played my part wisely, diligently and consciously without any form of bias, sentiment or wrong records. I can call any of them that I'm coming to their house for dinner and their wives will welcome me with a smile but non of them can have the moral to call me for assistance.

The last one, tried to makeup with me by giving his car to me to sell... I told h8m straight the amount on it was too much let him sort himself. We still chat once once till date.

Riders your best bet because they're tue one you'll get your money from. Some good one will save your contact while others are just an eye glance never to see them again for the rest of your life.

The app companies are only their to use you as a tool to get their money. I don't go on every trip I accept... Some I convert depending on mood and rider's conversation and time. Use your head. I no come Lagos to come count bridges neither did i come to be loyal to anyone.

Everyone is a predator
Don't be the prey at all times.
