Which one is if I feel? If something is not wrong, will I be begging you. Small thing you head go deh swell grin

Anyway as I was abt leaving island around 4 the weather was kinda cool and I notice some sought of overheating, so I put off the ac as it was working as at then. Parked and check and realise maybe the thermostat is malfunctioning or the radiator cap is not tight. I sha fix it well and told my rider no ac since I have like 50 mins traffic, I don't want to get stuck on the road. She oblige, I drove the car from phase 1 to ikoyi, no wahala, turn ac on and it's not cooling. Came down to check what up and saw this. Drove it home without ac. This morning I put it on, ac is workin extremely fine, but that sign of revving drop when ac is turned on does no do like that and it does no show any sign when put off.

Now u have talk grin na AC man go fix am for u.
Something is definitely wrong with the AC system. It's freezing so compressor is still good but maybe Expansion valve, dryer or condenser done fail. Take it to a competent AC technician.

First thing first... E hailing is not something new . yellow cab and E hailing are basically the samething. The difference is technology , e hailing connects you easily to your customers ..... With yellow cab and E hailing you are putting in the same amount of hours driving ..... yellow cab has been around for years and years .. Yellow cab is a form of a hailing ....

The more and more I read on the forum. The more I understand the mind set of the rich and poor. I now understand why the rich are very tight with their money. It seems to me you guys don't have what it takes to be rich .. You don't understand the work and sacrifice it takes...

You guys complain about this and that... If u guys are willing to think outside the box . you will use. E hailing as a stepping stone to do other things......

Me for example have used e hailing as a stepping stone to go into other things. I will not get into specific details here. But my business objectives here are almost done. This is to the point that I have achieved my goals that I will be less and less active on nairaland. And e hailing has help me achieve those goals, whether I was driver or partner , e hailing has contributed to that success or has given me a path way..... It is now up to me to make the best out of it ....

All I read here from you guys are excuses that slows you down from seeing the bigger picture .. From reading from nairaland I have now learn to be tight with money and how I assist people .. Most of u guys what the easy way out without blood sweat and tears

In all honesty I agree with you 1000000%, I can't imagine I left this forum and still check when tagged to see the same people are still at the same spot.

This forum was my stepping stone which you all know, I have come across the great, humble, the rich and poor, the intelligent and the other part. As a business man I have evolved to a level of not just a mechanic but an all round business man, reading some stuffs here makes me wanna puke. To stay rich change the circle of people around you to people who challenge you to the best you can be. Not bragging or claiming veterans or giving excuses of why you will never move forward in life.
Turn the excuses to the challenge you have to overcome. Set goals and make sure you get it. Role with people that are way above you in business or innovation and rub minds. Not with some packaged nitwit who runs you down with na Nigeria make me be like this.

Good day my bosses in the house, I need your advice on a very important issue. I lost my job this year January but while I was working I was able to buy a Toyota Camry sport 2009 model. I want to know if I can use the car for e hailing for now at least to settle bills before I get another job, I’m not familiar with most roads on the island because I most move around the mainland and how do I avoid the law enforcement officers that want to extort me since I’m new to the hustle.

1. U can use your car and Hussle in the meantime while searching for another job.

2. As far as u can drive and u know road signs, u have nothing to worry about, u don't need to posses special driving skills, all u need is d basic driving knowledge to do d job.

All d best

Pls want to know about lekki ikoyi link bridge toll price, is it the same with lekki tollgate and how much do the charge for installation of the cashless tag.
Thanks

From inception, ikoyi toll has been higher, 300 VS 200. But there is a % rebate since the cashless policy started. 270 VS 180.

Its quite a token to get the tag. It won't cost you much. Just your time.

1. Bill Gates.. Worked at Microsoft .. He helped start the company with his friends. He started small just like any company.

2. Mark Cuban....owner of the Dallas Maverick (NBA). He started has a bar owner in college. He than moved up to IT and products sales

3. Jeff Bezos. He was working in wall street early on before he started Amazon.. He started Amazon with his wife in their garage. Amazon use to just sell books for college students. Amazon was like ebay, similar model of business. But he took the business to the next stage... EBay is supposed to be where Amazon is today. Jeff Bezos was able to think outside the box and expand their business.....

4. Dru23 .. Started as an uber partner leasing rental cars for uber Than moved into car sales and into importer of goods and automobile parts into Nigeria.

These guys started from the bottom .. They were workers clocking in and out like me and you.
It's that number 4 for me grin

That's how it will be behaving, thermostat isn't working so the compressor keeps pumping ice endlessly and once it blocks the pipe or the passage you won't feel anything again until it will evaporate.

Dru, I don't quote people just for quoting sake...all the guys you mentioned up there, apart from no 4, came from a wealth background and got the necessary loans to start up their dreams, they all did understudy in a corporation that aligned to the empires they built today, put 100% energy in building your empire, not 100% energy in driving for bolt and Uber, it has no future it offers you, it's just a side hustle that offers one a cash cow like structure.

What are you insinuating grin grin

It's likely not a case of low freon, the AC dey over chilled and once the pipes are blocked it stops chilling.
Evidently the thermostat isn't working, otherwise it was meant to be tripping of from time to time.
