Good day everyone, I have a question for those guys that sent paid mail and received decision made response from UKVI then go to TLS to pick up their passport without waiting for TLS to contact them that their passport is ready for collection. I received the same response from UKVI and I went to TLS just as I was advised. TLS told me that I have to wait for them to contact me before I can come pick up my passport. How do you guys go about it? Is there any other TLS apart from the one I went to? I’m confused abeg, waiting to hear from TLS is really exhausting. |

Hello guys just a humble question to clear a doubt. Is it possible to enter the UK through a visiting visa and apply for another visiting visa to the US. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by mamawa123: 1:06am On Apr 16, 2022 |
deuoessch: You still have 4 months before your visa expired……why the rush? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by mamawa123: 1:21am On Apr 16, 2022 |
EarlOfSaxon:Yes you can. Check their website for more information. https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/tourism-visitor/where-to-apply/ I pulled the information below from their Uk website Nonimmigrant visas are processed at the U.S. Embassy in London or the Consulate General in Belfast. If you are in the United Kingdom, you may schedule an appointment to apply for a visa at either post regardless of your nationality or status in the United Kingdom. 2 Likes |

Toydex4real: Can someone pls enlighten me on go about this maybe I can go back there again. Is there a particular office I have to go directly instead of waiting in line with the people who are there for their passport collection? Or is there a way I have to explain to them in other for them to be able to help me check if my passport have arrived or not? I thought they were going to help me check when I went there but they only explained to me that I have to wait till they email me to come for collection. I’m getting tired of waiting already. Biometric has been done since February. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Ray7878: 5:03am On Apr 16, 2022 |
Toydex4real: Usually you wait 10 working days before going to TLS, but I have heard of people who went directly within a few working days and picked up their passport. That’s from feedbacks on here though. From personal experience TLS has a way of sending people away just to reduce their workload on that day. They did the same thing to my wife when she wanted to reschedule her biometrics appt whilst in front of them. They lied to her because they couldn’t be bothered to sit and show her what to do, that delay alone cost her another 17 days before she could reschedule. When you went to TLS did anyone actually went in to check for you? Did they sit you down, check and saw that your passport isn’t there yet? If they didn’t do that then you shouldn’t have left. You have the email that says a decision has been made. So I am assuming the decision must have been at least a week working days. |

Ray7878: A decision has been made doesn't directly translate to travel documents is ready for collection. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by leef2022: 5:10am On Apr 16, 2022 |
Toydex4real: Sorry, but you can only wait further until you get a collection mail, whilst doing so keep using paid mails/ and calls as would be applicable. |

@giselle237 Please, proof read the below for me. Thanks Based on researches I have made, below is how I plan to spend my 13 days in the United Kingdom. Day 1- Arrival in the UK, hotel check-in and take a rest Day 2- I have heard so much about Tate-Modern and that would be my first stop, The Tower Bridge is just about 8 minutes from Tate-modern after which I would proceed to visit the Saatchi Gallery. Day 3- Visit London Transport museum and Saint Paul’s Cathedral Day 4- Visit Trafalgar Square and Tower of London Day 5- Buckingham Palace and National History Museum Day 6- Indoor, seeing movies and local stations. Day 7- Big Ben is about 3 minutes to Saint James’s Park and about 16 minutes to The National Gallery, I will be visiting these places on this day. Day 8: Survey and Window shopping at Harrods and Gagosian Gallery Day 9: A visit to House of the Parliaments Day 10: Chocolate Shopping for my daughter and lingerie shopping for my wife. Day 11: Visit Churchill War rooms and National Portrait Gallery. Day 12. Indoor and resting for my departure Day 13: Departure from the United Kingdom 1 Like |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Ray7878: 12:05pm On Apr 16, 2022 |
leef2022: He or she doesn’t need to make any more paid email or calls, they have already made a decision. The next people he/she needs to chase or contact is TLS not UKVI. They would just be wasting their monies doing another paid emails/calls. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Ekeadatrust: 12:10pm On Apr 16, 2022 |
Please can someone give me the email address of the UKVI paid mail or how to go about the UKVI paid mail |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Ray7878: 12:15pm On Apr 16, 2022 |
DFmum: Yeah am sure this is a TLS issue, most of the ones from March have already even here to talk about their testimony in previous pages. And it’s not like a decision has NOT been made. I think it would help the OP if he/she knows when that decision was made. Because frankly waiting on TLS can be the death of the unlucky ones. |

Ekeadatrust: https://www.gov.uk/contact-ukvi-inside-outside-uk/y/outside-the-uk Just follow the directions, fill in the pages, your passport number, GWF number, IHS number if applicable etc and tell them what your query is, hit submit and you have to pay £2.74 pence via your card. 1 Like |

Hi everyone, I’ve been worried lately. My sis and her family had their biometrics around early February, application outside Nigeria, they reside outside Nigeria, The main applicant is her hubby while my sis and her kids are dependent. Main applicant (work) has been approved 15days after submission but my sis got reply that she should provide one or two documents for herself which was sent, 5days after that, she got an approval and her passport was sent but the major problem now is the kids' (age 2 and 5). The two passports released were given 3months to enter UK, after her hubby waited for a month without the kids visa, the main applicant (her hubby) left to UK to resume, while my sis is still waiting for the kids' visa and she had spent over a month out of the 3months given to her to enter UK. After so many calls and paid email sent, their reply is still awaiting decision for the kids. Its over 3weeks now, another paid mail was sent last week and even this week again, still saying awaiting decision Please what else can we do? i will appreciate any suggestion. I AM SURE THE VO WILL NOT EXPECT THEM TO LEAVE A 2 AND 5 YEARS OLD KIDS BEHIND and travel. This long waiting is frustrating. Thank you. |
