You complain of Eric being slow and shiit.. Then, I tell you that it's just you not being satisfied that City let him go for free because you think he's not good enough but I can confidently tell you that the young lad has improved really well, still has some lapses which involve not managing his aggression well, but with Pique by his side, he's been pretty solid, improving on his slow strides and making brilliant tackles and clearance for the team.


Just as I said in some of my older posts, I think Garcia is a CDM being forced as a defender. His technicality over time in this Barca setup shows that, time and again, he's got what to be on the same level as Man City's Rodri (maybe better if tutored well by Busi, himself) in terms of technicality and positional play, and not forgetting how difficult it is to press them.

Xavi loves it when a CB can play long balls and not succumb to reckless passing under pressure and that's a criterion where Eric edges over Araujo but it's barbaric to think that Xavi prefers Eric to Araujo.
