As long as the case is in court, the only other alternative is to use illegal means. And I don't advise that.

Whatever you do, never involve your lawyer or the police. This is what your tenant is expecting you to do. He will buy a a lot of time with this and you will spend a lot of money.

Again, never kick him out by force or beat him with area boys, throw his things out or remove his roof. He will claim serious damages and you will be in deep soup and pay a lot of money as damages

You should do what my friend's mum did. Carry sacrifice made with rat head, yam and palm oil and put it in front of his doorstep. After three days, put head of snake and head of monkey at the doorstep. You can buy head of snake and monkey at those traditional herbs sellers at a very cheap price. All these will cost you less than 10k

Thats all! Nobody go teach am to commot in 2 weeks.

PS: If you are still outside the country, contract this to a friend or family member. Make sure to call the tenant first and tell him to take whatever his eyes will see in the coming days

Some tenants can be stubborn

If he's living upstairs, serve him quit notice and highlight you want to renovate your building. Once the date has passed, start by removing the roof above his living room and bedroom

Go to Okija or Ijebu and narrate your story to any elderly person.

His family members will be rushing to help him pack his stuffs out of the house.

Disconnect power supply to his apt.

It's already in court,so you just have to be patient and don't take any irrational action.Tenants like that and the person above are not just wicked but are waiting for landlords like you to take extra legal measures so they can find more excuses,even lawful reasons to continue staying in people's houses rent free.

Some unfortunate tenants dey like that.. Dem no go build house and dem no go let person wey build enjoy him sweat... Since the case is in court u have to wait oo... So that ur action will not be used against u in the court of law... Like oyinbo police dey talk.. Cos I never hear for our naija police mouth before
