Randers sporting director Søren Pedersen has confirmed that there's interest in exciting winger Tosin Kehinde but has stressed that no offer has been tabled for the Manchester United academy product. The former Nigeria U23 invitee will enter the last twelve months of his contract with the East Jutland club in July and could be on his way out when the transfer window opens. Kehinde's brother and agent, Emmanuel Oluwole Idowu recently stated that German, French and English clubs are monitoring the situation of the 23-year-old. "There is interest in him, but there is no concrete offer on my table from any clubs, " Pedersen said to bold.dk. "When we have such a talented player, there will be interest, and of course there is also, but it is still at an early stage." Pedersen has made it clear that Randers will not stand in the way of Kehinde if they receive an offer in the coming months. "We talk regularly with Tosin and the agent, and we have a good plan in relation to everything. "And as I said - if the opportunity arises for him, we will not stand in the way of him coming to a larger club, if that is the right thing to do." Kehinde was involved in 18 3F Superliga matches in the regular season, in which he scored two goals and delivered five assists. |

Even the osimhen ,ighalo and others are enjoying their weekly millions. Hope u are also enjoying yours?. At this point we should be suggesting players to improve our team not this back and front arguments. 3 Likes |

I think I will call my departure from here a sabbatical and I think it was worth it. Personal apology to Stormtrooper11, you made valid point but us failing to pick the qualification ticket rocked me to my marrows. We have lost a lot but theri was something about this one. It was a ticket that looked easy to me for us to pick but it was clear case of sabotage. I think it is something I will look past but still in shock from it. 5 Likes |

Big congrats to Eboboritse Uwejamomere who was appointed as the match analyst of the team. Glad to hear he is a member here. I hope you shine and make a big impact in the game. Keep it up. I will advise you to put your head down and also learn. Do not get carried away with your deep knowledge and insight into the game. There is always something to learn and as you keep learning, you become better at what you do. I hope you pass knowledge to the technical crew and the players too. My heart and prayers are with you to succeed. Well done and praying for the best for you. 10 Likes |

The major talking point over the weeks has been the appointment of the new coaching crew. My personal opinion is that it is too tribalized for me to believe the selection was based on merit. I think it is time I dig into the members of the technical committee because I wonder how the draft the list and I think someone needs to face the public to defend why some appointments were made. |

Ike Shorunmu happens to stand as one of the lights in the appointment. I think it is nice to have someone who pulled in a good shift for the Super Eagles. I said before that Ike Shorunmu's performance against Germany in a friendly game before France 98 World Cup ranks as my best performance by a goalkeeper for Super Eagles. Unfortunately, it was one half and he was injured in that game which ruled him out of the World Cup. I hope he screens properly and selects a nice set of goalkeepers that will make us proud. |

Another interesting appointment is that of Nduka Ugbade. Strictly from a philosophical perspective. Over the years, there are things about him that made him look like a promising manager for the Super Eagles. I will share a few that caught me over the years. We taught them the science of football...Nduka Ugbade This is one quote from Nduka Ugbade that really thrilled me. It was short but says a lot about him. He believes there is a science behind tactical decisions and believed the 2013 U17 set gained from this knowledge. Nduka Ugbade made me a toughie...Wilfred Ndidi Nduka Ugbade was the academy coach that discovered and nurtured Wilfred Ndidi. He found him a smallish, slender-looking kid and horned him into a monster. Ndidi is one of the toughest playing midfielders in Europe and he points at Nduka Ugbade being key to him developing that way. Leicester City Have Not Seen The Best Of Iheanacho...Nduka Ugbade “Those of us who know Iheanacho understand that he is not a fast player but a highly intelligent player, trust me, he will continue to improve and score goals if he gets regular playing opportunities.” So deep were the words of Nduka Ugbade about Iheanacho. Pointing out that most managers do not know Iheanacho as some of them (Amunike, and Manu Garba) coached him to perform excellently in the U17 which attracted the eyes of Manchester City. Nduka Ugbade hopes to work with Iheanacho and co. who he taught the science of the game, to consolidate what he started. I also found this so deep and interesting. He believes he still has more to pass to the 2013 U17 winning squad which makes it impressive. I hope Nduka Ugbade has sufficient time and support to work with this next u17 to develop a good number of quality players that will fly with the Super Eagles. I also hope he goes back to the process of thorough screening of players around the country. Wishing him the best. 2 Likes |

I have always seen Ndidi as a reflection of Nduka Ugbade's philosophy of the game. Work ethic. I expect to see a U17 team built around being tough. Note, not mechanic football. Bernardo Silva is someone that shows this. Always working to make things happen. I hope to see a team of runners. We press as a unit, trackback as a unit, and make nice tackles. I hope to see brilliant off-the-ball runs to create passing lanes and also tidy movements. I will really keep an eye out on Nduka Ugbade's U17. Still repeat, I hope he gets the support. Nduka Ugbade stands the chance of becoming the first man to win the Junior World Cup as a player and first-team coach. 1 Like

TheGoodJoe:am happy with nduka's appointment but the problem here is that how did ladan bosso retained his position after failing with the last wuruwuru under 20 sqaud, and salisu Yusuf alone having 3 positions to him self while he isn't even the best local coach here in Nigeria not even in the Npfl well some of the committee members actually used style to let us know they where just there ceremonially the decisions where from the oga at the top and the rogues in the white house 1 Like |

This World Cup non qualification is very painful simply because we lost to an inferior team and to think that, I was preaching against the sacking of Rohr because he met his deliverables vs Nigerians Wrongly believing that, he underachieved is pitiful. I am certain that Gernot Rohr would had Qualified us for the World Cup based on his past antecedents on Qualifying 4 Likes |

do4luv14:Oga do4luv,Sunday Dare was of opinion that those who applied for the job should be interviewed and the best should be picked by NFF.Appointing a coach without giving others the opportunity is not acceptable and if NFF had made up their minds on Peseiro why declared the position open. Truly, what is Dare biz with NFF but mind you Amaju led NFF as a statutory body don't have enough money to pay the coach,so sport ministry needed to come in and only way out for NFF is to be transparent, not going through the backdoor, employ a coach on $50k monthly and expecting the sport ministry who are ready to assist in payment to keep quiet. Rohr success in six years as eagles coach is debatable,so there is need to employ a coach who will turn Nigeria football around, not only with eagles but real football development....we should not employ a foreigner just cos we need a foreigner,a real tactical foreign coach deserve eagles. 2 Likes 1 Share |

elyte89:Baba you and world class....sincerely we don't have one.I was then expecting Wilfred Ndidi but he need to do more.Hopefully to see Osimehn soon as world class, depends the way he carry himself on and off the fields......anytime I see Sallah and Mane,am always asking myself, why not Nigerian. Just few days ago,I saw comparison between Drogba and Aiyegbeni and I was like what?the same Drogba became the first African inducted ino EPL Hall of Fame. It is time to face the reality that our payers are not yet there.....it takes talent and discipline to be a world class player cos it's season in season out performance. |

TFLASHOGEE:Last time out, Ladan Bosso took an all Northern team to embarrass himself. This time around, he appears to have learnt his lesson and called up players from the southern part. But seriously, Bosso doesn't deserve 2nd or 3rd chances. He's a yesterday's man. I don't mind having a foreign coach for the U20s if we don't have capable grassroot coaches. |

It's a pity that the sport sector that would have been a very good avenue for empowering youths in the country is being run by too many selfish and incompetent individuals... 1 Like |
