Police Arrests Couple For Allegedly Beating Their Maid To Death In Lagos (Disturbing Photo)

Police officers in Lagos State have arrested a woman and her husband following the death of their maid, IgbereTV reports.

The deceased, Joy Akom Adole, was living with Nene Fortune and her husband Stephens at No. 18 Ogundola Street, Bariga, Lagos.

She reportedly started working with the couple in January, 2022, and was being paid N15k per month.

On April 20, 2022, the couple called the police to report that Joy had committed suicide following a misunderstanding with her madam, Fortune.

However, when the police visited the scene, they saw marks of violence on the body of the deceased, pointing at torture.

Confirming the incident, the Lagos State Police Command’s spokesperson, Bala Elkana, said: "Our operatives at Bariga received a complaint from a couple that their househelp committed suicide. That is the initial report that they got.

"The DPO led a team of Homicide detectives to the house and they saw the housegirl hanging on a rope but the way she stood on the rope raised an eyebrow because it actually looked like it was a stage managed event.

"The detectives went further to check for marks of violence and they saw a lot, fresh wound. She was actually tortured so there is a likelihood that she died and they tried to cover up by putting her on a rope to show she committed suicide."

The idiotic useless NONENTITIES couple kill the innocent girl then have the mind to hang her with a rope to look as she committed suicide.

No matter how things are hard and difficult with you, never, never, never allow your child to go and do a maid job to any idiot in this world especially in Nigeria, even if they promise you and your child heaven on earth, it's all lies, they want who to abuse and subject to perpetual suffering. If anybody is looking for a maid, they should come and carry me , because clearly, I am the one that will reduce you to nothing in your own house immediately, if case is not taken you'll run out of your own house.

Those fools should be taught a strong lesson immediately.

Government should enact a law that prohibits the engagement of under aged house helps.

Any parent found giving their kids for such a useless jobs should be prosecuted.

I was even wondering if the couple saw this picture of 3 years old and copied their own cover up to look exactly like it.
Is this kind of false use of pictures that makes one doubt some stories atimes.
