GraciousWords: When the passport was ready for pickup. He went to DHL office to pay for pick up and DHL picked it up from VFS Germany for him and delivered to Lagos. He only paid for one way when sending and when it was ready for pick up, he paid again to return. For those asking for step by step. I only have understanding for a single applicant - GERMANY VFS - To send passport, you need to pay in EUROs only. - He got a friend in Germany to pay for him - 23.30 Euros ( this is the amount per applicant). - The friend sent receipt to him How to pay: You'll have to pay fees through bank transfer payable to 'VFS Services Germany GmbH' and in EUROS only. Jimisola14: Pls read page 1, analyse the CRS grid and see why you are at 379, if you are not way older than 40 and have an MSc or 2 degrees you can get much higher if you probably did better in IELTS. If you are way older than 40 then the oprions are French and PNP Page 1 has details of how to explore each province...... it's a painstaking process but that's the only way to see the opportunities. 3 Likes |

Jimisola14:Your CRS is really low, have you tried everything to improve it? I think Sask and Ontario invite your noc. But your score is too low for Ontario. You can go to the Sask website and try to simulate your score, they have their own scoring system but their cutoff is high too. Édit: i just read that OINP invited as low as 300 in their last draw which was a few days ago. Hope you’re in the pool already 1 Like |

Ella2000: I really don’t know but Google rate is always official rate which nobody uses. At BDCs it’s usually about N75 to 1GHC last I checked. Naira has not been at its best lately so I won’t be surprised if it’s really N100. 1 Like |

Hi friends, I just received Ontario NOI and need urgent advice. I listed a one year accounting experience in my EE profile from Feb 2019 to July 2020. The Problem is that, this employer did not provide a reference letter listing my duties and responsibilities as requested. They just provided a standard reference which confirms my position and salary. Meanwhile, one of my previous where I performed similar roles from June 2016 to June 2017 provided the standard reference letter as requested with all duties and responsibilities listed. Can I change my work experience in the EE profile to the this (2016 to 2017 employer) and submit my application to Ontario without issues? Or do I need to maintain the 2019 to 2020 experience stated when I received the NOI? Please note that Ontario website states that "Ensure that your résumé, employer reference letters and other documents submitted to support work experience criteria, include a detailed list of your duties and responsibilities for each position held." Your advise will be very much appreciated. |

MaameU: From what I read in the past, messing with the details of primary noc might get you an intent to refuse letter which will have you writing long letters to defend yourself so why not just go straight to the long letters. Instead of messing with your profile, how about drafting your Work Experience letter on plain paper and getting your supervisor or one of your other bosses to sign for you, or if the company has ever given you any document on letter headed paper listing your duties you can submit that then attach the one from the company and maybe a mail from them saying HR won’t give the kind of letter you’re requesting. Hopefully this company has an online presence. Also submit work experience letters from the 2016-2017 experience too, since OINP asked for past and present work experience anyway. The letters from both companies should be enough to prove you have experience in the noc you’re claiming. |

My God is good and kind to me AOR: 28 Nov2020 Stream: FSW biometrics - 13 Jan 2020 ADR - 7th Feb 2022 proof of payment(cash), schedule A, remedial ADR submitted- 17th Feb 2022 ADR acknowledged- 18thfeb 2022 ADR not applicable -18th Feb 2022 Remed done- 22 FEB 2022 Remed transmitted by IOM - 1st March 2022 Remed passed- 2 March 2022 -----Long Silence----- Ghost update: 26th April, PPR: 26th April 2022 Pri.VO: RROC Sec.VO: Accra The wait is over It will reach everyone. I heard about the express entry on the 12th of September 2016. A family friend was trying to convince my husband and me to try it but my husband refused. Fast forward to 2018 our family driver asked me to put him through the Canada visa lottery...I started to ask questions and did further research that was how we agreed to start the process that year. We both finished from foreign universities so WES was a breeze for us. When it was time to take IELTS a friend convinced my husband that he didn't need to take it ( which was true at that time) I just had my 2-second child a few weeks before the exam but was adamant about taking it. The result was L9, R8.5, S7, W6.5. I didn't know I could remark then. When I took the 2nd IELTS someone I met there told me I should have remarked the first but it was too late. The second result wasn't better than the first so I took a break from the Canada journey to focus on my new job at the time In late 2019 I decided to try IELTS again. And got 6.5 in writing again.... I decided to do some tutorials. My tutor would always say my writing was good and she couldn't understand why I wasn't getting up to 7. I decided I would sit for the computer-based test because I had convinced myself it was my handwriting that was the problem. On the week of my exam was when the lockdown started so I couldn't sit for it. When the IELTS examination resumed I rebooked for the 1st of August but they replied it was full. So I had to pick the Day God had made the 8th of August. The exam went well. I didn't even see the email that the result was ready till the next morning, when I checked I screamed so loud my kids joined too any chance to make noise...... L9, R9, S 7.5, W 7. My tutor was like I should remark. So I could get 7.5 in writing... I'm like Aunty cool down oo this 7 is okay for me. my husband also took his IELTS and passed. Our CRS was at 479 I created my profile, and the next ITA was the 16th of September so I got it. I was a frequent Nairaland visitor till @sassywendy added me to the telegram group and I forgot naira land. I'm grateful for the Post ita group because questions were answered reference letter was reviewed. Every other aspect went smoothly and I submitted my application on the 28th of November 2020. I was hoping with the way things were going then that by May 2021 I won't be in Nigeria, but that was not the case. Sent countless web forms and got that your file is in the queue for review by an officer. I ordered GCMS notes and only medical and criminality was passed everything was not started Sent a web form to Hongkong they said they have finished the minor processing of my file and returned it to Accra. Hongkong you are a suspect because you didn't do anything. There were happy and sad days. I even started considering the study route. But in all we thank God. When people started receiving ADR in December I started to get my house in order, because I didn't want to be caught off guard When people started calling to know where their file was, I called every day for two weeks with no hope. Then I sent Sydney a mail and was told my file was in Canada from Accra. I was a bit calm. When NOV 2020 started getting the Trinity ADR I put my documents in order and booked Medicals for 22nd Feb expecting ADR to come and nothing. That Friday, I sent a compassionate mail to the PPR mail, Accra mail, and submitted a WeB form, that I was ready to travel. Ordered GCMS notes but I believed that I will have my PPR before it arrives. ( it hasn't arrived) I had decided that after my medical I will just submit schedule A PCC and updated proof of funds and also proof of income from employer whether I get ADR or not. Luckily the next Monday I was calling IRCC as usual and the lines were busy I decided to close my eyes a bit and a friend's call interrupted my sleep. The next thing I saw was mail from IRCC my chest ooo.....I got ADR for everything I had to prepare except updated proof of funds. I submitted my ADR on the 17th of February and my status changed to not available on the 18th. We had our medical done on the 22nd of Feb but IOM refused to transmit on time. I decided to call IRCC to know at least if everything is passed let me know it's Medical remaining, and that was exactly what I was told....the joy that day eh. I slept like a baby. The next day I sent IOM a mail..they replied I should give them 7days. I woke up at 3 am on the 7th day composed another mail and sent it to them. Since I was in a writing mood I decided to write down my journey because I know that when the Golden mail arrives I won't remember what I have been through. This silence from IRCC after my medical passed was deafening some days my anxiety got the best of me. Only my prayers help me through it, waiting for something that doesn't have an expected time for completion is the hardest. Called everyother week and same story all parameters are passed waiting for final approval. Sent countless mails to IRCC and MPs to no avail. But on God's appointed day and time the mail landed. If you are reading this it's PPR!!!!! This journey started on naira land even though it's been a while I visited here. I decided to share my testimony to encourage someone that delay is not denial. 27 Likes |
