Good morning house. Am in the U. K currently doing my master degree. I want to apply for Canada skill labour visa and one of my friend in Nigeria is advising me that I should not used UK as my place of resident instead I should choose Nigeria. That if I used UK that it will complicate things
you could get banned for 5 years if you do that. That friend of yours is not only useless but sent from the coven of witches

Good day fam. Pls i will like to get advice on my already submitted application. In the personal history section, under personal activities in the past 10yrs, i stated my work history for the past 10yrs. I did not include the Pgd i did 2years ago in the personal activity. All the details of my Pgd was stated in the Study/language section and is also in my Eca. The study was a part time 1yr study. Do i need to raise a webform and fill schedule A again? Or is it unecessary since all details are in other sections. Thanks

Raise a webform but if it was stated under education it's supposed to have been filled up automatically. Did you check and you didn't see it there?

It did, but i removed it when i was trying to arrange it according to the recent activity but did not add it back

Hi all, pls I have a question.

Sometimes in 2018 I and my family had a Visa refusal to the US. We however have started this Canadian journey afterwards. In every forms and details we have filled and given, we did not include the Visa refusal because we just thought it wasn't necessary.

My question now is; is there a need to inform IRCC about the refusal and if we do at this point won't it be seen a misrepresentation?

canada and USA share information and as it stands you have committed misrepresentation already which leads to a 5 years ban. Quickly raise a webform to inform them of the omission, also raise gcms notes to see if your files have been touched. Its funny how you are claiming you thought it was not necessary when there are two statutory questions asking about past visa refusals, some humans are funny i must say.

You don't talk like that. The friend is just limited by what he/she/they knows. You don't know their history or how much they've helped each other thru life with other vital information. Just this one info that is wrong doesn't make him/her/they any of those words you put up there. Lucky @morinto came here to get more clarification. I believe @morinto would revert to the friend and in turn, the friend would get a better knowledge about the process.
some friends have led people to visa refusals and bans. I repeat they are from a coven of witches determined to ruin peoples lives. If you dont know why advising someone The friend clearly is fraud inclined. Such people should be avoided.

PPR ALERT !!!!!!!!!!

AOR: 25th Sept 2020
RPRF: 28th Nov 2020
REMED : 2nd Dec 2021 passed 10th Jan 2022
PPR: Today 1st Feb

Visa Office: Accra Office.

My Landing Gist

I got PPR on 1st of Feb and sent my passport through vfs lagos on 7th.  It took 2 months for my passport to return due to the whole Accra timelime plus my passport photo got misplaced in transit.

I had booked my flight shortly after PPR came because I thought passport will be stamped and returned in 6weeks , I had to reschedule the flight.

I booked a return ticket for 475k and later rescheduled for a fee of 44k

For those wondering why a return ticket I needed it to apply for PTA, upon return of my passport from Accra I applied for PTA and 3days to my flight 4k dollars was approved and disbursed to me at 419 per dollar. I will open my return flight and use it whenever I'm ready to visit Nigeria

I booked my flight with Ethiopia Airlines,  arrived airport by 10am on 22nd April, Nobody searched my luggage which was surprising. The immigration guys just wished me well. I went to the check in counter and did all the necessary things .

Flight was for 1:20pm but we left some minutes to 2pm. Flight to Addis Ababa was smooth, less than 2hrs layover then we proceeded to Dublin where we landed just to refuel and then final lap to Canada YYZ.

I didn't spend up to 1hr at YYZ from the point of disembarking to exit home.  Everything was straightforward and smooth, no queue at immigration,  got my luggage in time and my friend came to pick me . The ride home was less than 20mins and that was it.

Monday I went to service Canada for my SIN, opened my bank account and got my mobile number.

I'm grateful to God for the entire PR process which I started in Dec 2019 and for this new phase I have entered in Canada, grateful for the information and guidance on this platform. Special thanks to a member of this forum that assisted me when I needed to pay for my RPRF with a credit card.

I wish everyone still in this PR process all the best. May it end in Landing stories for us all.

Cheers.

You are to declare everything. It shows integrity and these people's immigration system is intertwined, they would still know.

Please inform them asap because they ban you for another 5 years..

If you don’t raise a web form quickly, the next letter you may receive will be a misrepresentation letter alongside a 5 years ban. I can’t believe you didn’t deem it necessary to state that you were refused visa in any country when it’s stated in the forms to declare your visa refusals. I am really hoping and praying that they are yet to finalize the decision on your applications. 5 years ban is no joke! All the best.

Please help guys! I got confused at the point of creating my EE profile. I only did ECA for my Masters, as per info that highest degree should be evaluated. While filling in my educational history on EE now it got confusing. Do I need to fill in my first degree too and pick that ECA was not done or I should just fill in Masters that has ECA alone and leave out the rest. Please note I only have a student copy of my first degree transcript which was done for my masters year ago and not addressed to any ECA body. And I know we need to provide documents for everything claimed on EE profile. Kindly guide me pls. I am confused

Yeah, indicate that you don’t have an ECA evaluation for your BSc and you won’t need to submit it. I did this and I’ve gotten PPR.

I think you can also just not mention the BSc in education history and only put it in personal history.

You may include details of your highest degree only. I did not include any information about my bachelors degree during my express entry expression of interest and PR application to avoid having to upload supporting documentation. I only included that of my Masters degree which I had an ECA for.

You however may need to include it in your personal history.

Please who has used IOM twice for Medicals? How did u go about it? Last year I booked Medicals cause I thought I’d get ITA and it never came and I never used the slot or pay for the Medicals. This year my spouse is the PA and We’re trying to book Medicals but wen it gets to inputting my own details, it says “an appointment already exists for this applicant”:.. I have cancelled the appointment from last year and I’m still not able to book afresh. Please who knows what I can do? A
friend who also did Medicals with them last year is having same issue when trying to rebook.

Use another e-mail address to book

you cannot have two accounts at a time. wait for thee account to expire and create a new one in the profile interface or withdraw the old one and create a new one.https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=864

i certainly know a person cannot have two accounts .. I was thinking about the tie-break rule cos I have been in the pool since 2020 and the profile has been expiring so i asked if there is a way to link and expired account to a new one so that they atleast know a person has been in the pool for a long time.

Good morning house, I just realised that my EE profile will expire next month. So I need the following clarifications:

1. I am currently in Canada on a visiting Visa. Should I withdraw my EE application and create another one and state my country of residence as Canada? I have been in the pool since last year.

2. Should I use the new portal instead of the old GSkey portal? I have checked the new portal from which I applied for my visit visa but didnt see where I could start an application for EE.

Thank you very much.
Your question is funny but assuming you dont know you cant be a resident of canada with a visit visa

They'll most likely find out due to the Five eyes or Five Country Conference (FCC) forum they are both members of and share immigration information among each other (US, Uk, Canada, Australia, New Zealand). What's your reason for hiding it from them though ? I don't know if this falls under misrepresentation
