A good spouse? God simply said, this in the beginning, that marriage is an agreement between a man and a woman. So long as the two come together in agreement, theirs is a marriage. This idea of "good spouse" God left up to individual preferences and for good reason this since no two marriages were created to be the same... born of the same agreement.
