This was the post that started the admonition.

This first post showed that you were about making decision to buy something 'toxic' perse.

And your attention were drawn to the fundamentals of what you want to buy. Maybe you got upset when you were referred to as ponzi investor. This shouldn't make you have such hard feelings.

Now you talk of Mcy supporting people. Do you know she lost money trading Skyebank (when it was nationalised on Sunday morning) after people warned her about the same fundamentals that Unity Bank is exhibiting today?

I do not think it is a cabal thing being created. They are only helping you to make an informed decision. One poster even said you should set your money ablaze instead of buying the stock.

Can the stock rise due to uninformed investing? Yes. Can you make money using technical analysis? Yes. But they are just drawing your attention on the fundamentals of this bank which if all that applied to Afribank, Union Bank, Bank PHB, Skyewere to apply to this same bank, you will not be happy.

We knew this bank since SLS time o. So no be today the bank don dey like that. It has political clout.

It is not a cabal thing. They are only telling you to be careful.

That response was also uncalled for sir. I am with sonofElElyon on this matter Pa emmanuelewumi (which I do respect) did something similar likewise to me which has made me stop posting. Even though I am not knowledgeable, There are better ways to put up a response.

I noticed myself something I considered a warming signal ! Obviously i didn't want to invest without explanations regarding this.. insulting me isn't the way to go please.. Someone telling me to burn my money instead of investing isn't an insult.. it's simply emphasizing how worthless and money wasting the investment would be. Saying i invest in ponzi on the other hand is downright insulting.. I don't talk to people that way and won't be spoken to like that either.. same way someone here said i must be high for listening to Peter's advice. The same mercy and co jumped to the person's defence.. I maintain my position that blind loyalty operates here.. if not let me see you correct Emmanuel ewumi for saying without proof that i invest in ponzi scheme and digital agric !!!

Dear @ SonofELELyon if I may come in; what @ Sir Oracle was trying to infer is that it might be better (in this instance) to FOCUS on the message and not the messenger.

In reality, people will pass messages accross using different forms of representation, but often relative to their interpretation of matters and/or the surrounding peculiarity at the time. ...sometimes it (the spoken or written word) might seem very nice, at other times not so nice, but the most important thing is to understand the INTENT or DRIVE behind the message.
If and when you can establish that the intent/drive is genuine (I think it's the case here), then it might be better to allow it take higher precedence ahead of ones emotion.

Let me give you a fine illustration;
Let's say you sought the view/advice of 3 investors Mr X, Y and Z on whether to buy a certain coy V.
Mr X had/has made returns investing in the stock... Mr Y has lost or is losing money in it while Mr Z, though not invested in the coy, has broad knowledge of it. (fundamental stand in view)
Now you'd expect to get different replies/revert from all 3 of them even if they all have genuine intentions.
I can tell you for free that you will like the message representation of some but definitely not all. This is something I have personally learned and come to terms with over time.

While pa Emma' post may not have sounded so nice, I'd prefer to (again, in this instance) focus on WHY the message was passed and not HOW it was passed. ...and in that light, he meant no harm. He was only trying to look out for you.
I also think that @mcy56 means well! ...she's been doing a great job here.
Pls do try to calm down, pick a thing or two as lesson and move on!

By the way, pls kindly read through the post from 2019 above.
With UNITY BANK, not much has changed since that post.
While there's been a slight improvement from then, RISK is still far ahead of the combination of REWARD and the coys CMP.
You may wish to trade the stock if you understand it's TA dynamics but even then, be VIGILANT!

Do take care of you.
Regards

Thanks for your responsibly worded post..

I am sorry I don't invest in what I don't understand, unregulated Investments and High Yield Investment Schemes

I remember you wanted me to invest in your logistics business about 3 years ago which I politely turned down and advised you on what you needed to do in other to get fund from banks and finance houses..

Never knew you still have a grudge with me because of this.

Ponzi schemes will give about 3% of the participants money but 97% will lose money big time.

There is a relationship between people who invest in Ponzi schemes and dead stocks which can give the lucky few a 200% return in few months

@sonofElElyon and others on the forum, you are all good people and very dear to me. And so, I feel it is necessary to say the following:

One of my philosopy in life was taken from Romans 12:18 - "do your best to live at peace with everyone". This quote has given me a lot of peace in life which even money cannot bring. I don't always like having problem with ANYBODY because it hurts my peace more than the person I am even having grudges against.

Therefore, please and please, let us always imbibe the spirit of tolerance and accept other people the way they are. ANGER never builds but only destroy what has been built over the years. The style of communicating by everyone can never be the same. I can say with all honesty that @emmanuelewumi never wish to insult you but was a little bit annoyed with the prospect of someone wanting to invest in unity bank (of all banks!). That may have prompted the reply. Yes, the reply may hurt you but then, if you demand apology and he refused, I am very sure that 90% of forum members would have taken it up and not even you.

We are all here for a common goal, which is to assist each other to be successful in life. Therefore, let us all walk towards it and not allow ANYTHING to tear us apart. Wishing you all a nice Sunday.

I support no one. He isn't my friend. It will be healthy for one not to take what is said here to heart. It can be painful at a times but to save your mental health, just let it pass. As you age, you begin to avoid some talk and disregard some things being said to you or referencing you.

I hope you saw his latest 2 posts still justifying his rather insulting post to me.. I see no sincerity in all those who can't simply tell him he was wrong. Clearly he lacks the capacity to follow the my posts on the matter which just requested for clarification on the audited result of unity bank which actually posted lovely eps and profit after tax and could be taken by any investor as a green light to invest. my sin is that I didn't know there were underlying problems in the bank (which by the way I suspected and therefore requested for interpretation of the net comprehensive income part..
Shame to those who can't tell this man that he is out of line due to blind loyalty... Still he continues to justify his baseless insulting post and some of you can't tell him it's wrong but keep looking for ways to justify him. Good luck to you all. Nothing else to say.. res ipsa loquitur

From observations I see FCMB and PRESCO delivering over 10% from current price by the end of the month. I see UBN and NESTLE decline.

My view are based on simple stats and a few axioms.

Axiom1: High Volume no significant change in price - someone or a bunch of someone's have info and d stuck will most likely go up.

Axiom2: High Volume and "significant" upwards change in price - "Everyone" wants to get in, information is openly available.

Axiom3: High Volume and "significant" downward change in price - "Everyone" wants to get out, information is openly available.

Statistics: I collected the daily volumes for every month since 2020 and matched the sum of d first N days to current month total N days. The stocks I highlighted above have shown considerable difference in volume compared to the other previous months.

Conclusion: Presco(Note that presco already has 18% in just 3 days) and FCMB are my 2 bets with a minimum 10% upward move each.

This is not an investment advice o, just playing with numbers.

You need to be calming down
Looking at some of the companies you have mentioned here (daar communication, mcnichols, unity bank among others) for possible buy, one will not be wrong if someone says you are probably new in this business.
My advice, be humble, learn how to read and interpret financial reports and shun the tendency to look for hand out on stock picks as well as quick gains....

Pork, Beef, Eggs, Poultry and their corresponding animal feeds.

The chart of these (lean Hog futures, Live cattle futures) could rise uncontrollably. So if you have these protein sources as a farm, guard it well. Boys could be moving around grin grin

In addition, the chart of Lead (a metal) will need to spike higher.

Why should Lead (symbol Pb) rise?

Lead is used for making car batteries, ammos, used in electrical sector and also used for protection against radiation. The first 3 uses didn't cause a spike in the metal, so what seems to be in the shadow.

Could an uncontrollable rise of Lead be due to a risk of a nuclear attack on any place? Recently there has been talk of nuclear strike in this ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. Will there be a real use case or any accident involving nuclear arsenals?

The world has changed forever.

I think a nuclear fallout is unlikely, except the payload is so large that you obliterate your enemy without reprisal attacks. As long as there is a chance of reprisal, they ain't going to do it.

The people at d top act and speak all tough but deep inside they care toomuch about the things they luv...

There can't be a nuclear fallout. Pay little attention to politicians and their misleading rhetoric. It's all geared to Stoke fear and control the already battered populace.

Neither Russia nor the US or even China can contain or manage the catastrophic results of a nuclear war.

After the 10% rise in that month, what next? Hold, sell or buy more?

You seem to be interested in data based research. Good one.

Try finding solutions to :

- (1) why price rise to a point (or price band) and then stops.
-(2) why price falls to a point ( or price band) and then stops.
- (3) why when this (either of the two points mentioned above) are happening, an event (news, catalyst) occurs afterwards to propel (up or down) the price enforcing a trend.

This will help you know the max/min possible price an asset can get to before it hits inflection point.

Why did I write these?

Remember Facebook, Netflix and lots of other stocks in the US. Many analyst from Goldman Sachs to Morgan Stanley kept the rating on hold or overweight until the bad earnings hit. Very few gave strong sell rating.

The infection point had been reached [case (1) above], then the event [case (3) above] was the earnings result which became a catalyst for the fall.

Once you know these, you will, to a reasonable extent, be able to forecast inflection points on every single asset. Not 100% though, but the research (financial adventure) should help you understand how prices behave.

I look at charts of some assets and make forecast. I don't look at what politicians say.

All one cannot see is that event which is coming.

Metal Lead is going to rise in price, and what will cause it to rise. Then I draw all the likely scenarios that can occur. And only a nuclear accident or preparations for anything nuclear can cause it to breakout from its range.

I don't discuss politics.
