PLEASE HELP!!!
Hello Nairaland Gurus! I posted this on the Germany thread but haven’t received any helpful response yet as it not as active as this thread. Please help!

I have been given an offer for an internship in Germany for the Summer.

It comes with weekly stipends, accommodation and board.

My worry now is my proof of funds. I work in the government sector and I have inflow here and there but I don’t think it is enough(per Germany’s daily requirements).

So my question is apart from the Supporting documents from the German company:
1. Can my parents provide their bank statements to support me? Or
2. Can a relative in the Schengen region send me supporting documents?

PS: I have travel history to the Schengen area, U.K. and the UAE.[/quote]

Since the internship comes with some benefits , you may not require the same daily Living cost. You would however need to consider Flight expense and Feeding.

You can request for an internship letter stating the benefits you would be assisted with. This would further reduce your costing.

1. You are an adult hence cant be sponsored ..

Yeah the site is quite problematic. It gives error messages quite often and if you're unlucky you may have issues upon payment.

Just try using a PC and your browser should preferably be chrome- use the incognito mode, it may help (at least it helped in mine).

Why can't she re-apply instead of appealing?

Thank you @mialate.
Actually my feeding is also covered so would you advise I book proper flight tickets with good refund policy to reduce my costing?

You should not book any Flights till you get the visa.

Use your cover letter to explain the benefits and breakdowns so the visa officer can understand better.

-VISA Alert!!!!…just got my passport an hour ago.

-First timer!

-No travel history or VISa stickers of UK, US or any of the first world countries.

-only had Dubai stamp(visited In march) and Brazilian visa( haven’t travelled yet) on my passport.Copies of Visa Stickers/stamps of Countries I had visited( kenya, Ethiopia and South Africa) were removed at VSF.

-Single! cool

-Passport was retuned to VSF in two days, so I thought I wasn’t given the visa( going by the narratives here).

- one month Tourist visa given with an instruction to report to VSF on a particular date.

Thanks to the gurus on this thread. It was the easiest process since I have been applying for visas. I’m so happy.

Congratulations
Your Brazilian visa sticker help you either you travelled with it or not it count, try and report to emabssy as soon as you return so that you would have issue next application.
