Pension is just additional proof to support home tie but not vital to add as long as you have demonstrated with other documentation that you have a job and currently working.

Some of the significant checks for a visit visa are proof of finance and a stable job or business that you are coming back to. For example, for a job, the visa officer would want to see a reference letter from your employer confirming that you are currently a staff in that establishment and if you have any documents to show approval of your leave, that will strengthen your case

I am also in your shoe. I made a re-application for Visitor visa to visit a spouse in Canada on April 9. On May 5, I requested to withdraw my two kids application since we have a SOWP and study permits for the kids under processing. I told them that only myself will do the visit now. On May 10, I got BVL without PPR and is still the same till now. Eligibility has not started , but I got a BVL.

Don’t worry that you did not get the actual response you expected. IRCC always read their mails.

One good way to know they track your mails is when you order your GCMS notes, it will be part of the incoming correspondence pages.
You can notify IRCC by the other channel. What I mean is If you have told them by webform, try doing so now by email, and if you did by email, do so also by webform, so you rest assured you have informed IRCC and you have your evidence.

When you do it by email, do a screenshot of the corrected area/page in question, paste it on the body of the email, and attach the document as an attachment.

You can apply on her behalf so you tick Yes for "use of representative" and tick "No" for the section on "authorized representative" since you are not a licensed immigration consultant.

Initially was hoping her hubby could come for Christmas and new year, no show so she travelled down to Naija to spend time with them. The we were hoping he'd be around for his birthday in January, still no show. Then her birthday in April we were really excited because BVL had come, still nothing. At this point I just logged out. My sister wanted GCMS notes so I applied for another one and just removed my mind that IRCC should do their worst.

I did not know my sister went to go and start a Novena, day 3 of the novena was PPR. The news did not even excite me. Na so so hiss I dey hiss dey curse IRCC lol.

The visiting visa was accompanied by 3 study permits for the children, will share details of those in study thread.

Your GCMS notes are for you to see the updated status on your file, and it does not guarantee to influence the speedy process of your application.

Although, the department responsible for receiving Access to Information requests (GCMS Notes) is different from the department that reviews visa applications. However, in the event of collation of an applicant's GCMS records, there might be some missing items or clarification that would require clarity from the department that does actual reviews of visa applications.

These can be a rare occasion that would cause visa officers to have a closer look at the file before the GCMS is signed off and mailed out by the ATIP department.
These rare occasions may cause the case processing analyst to review the file further to the next step.

You can type GCMS notes on google and choose one out of the many options. You will be asked to sign a form with blue biro before they execute.
