It seems so cos initially I was seeing Kano and no Kaduna, now I can see Kaduna no Kano.

I reckon the PHD is the life changing part? Because 1550 monthly isnt going to change much, you're better off getting a job in the UK.

I guess IELTS or any English proficiency is a requirement all these UK schools... Wahala... It is well.

Scholarship and job are two different things na... 1550 pounds is more than a million in Nigerian money and when you multiply it by 36 you will see that the money is reasonable. A friend studying in University of Manchester told me that if one can maintain an average life 15 million will be okay for him throughout his PhD for living expenses, except he lives in London. That means you may have excess of at least 15 million in just 3 years. Do you know how long it will take you in Nigeria with PhD to have 15 million naira?

That 15m has less value than the opportunities the PhD opens. 15m in Nigeria wont buy you a proper house. Play your cards right and your PhD can have you earning more than your 3 year stipend combined in a year. Hence why I said the PhD is the life changing part.

Has anyone been able to update their interview location... I wanted to select virtual since I am currently out of the country but can't find where to do that. I just saw the preferred interview location: Abuja. I believe I selected Abuja during the application period but I would really save money if I could do it virtually. Is anyone experiencing a similar issue?

Click update and follow the prompts, when you get to the page where your course information is ( that is ur university choices), at the top of the page you would see "edit", click it, it would show the tab to change location. All the best.

A lot of the schools accept WAEC. No fear

The stipend is the same irrespective of wether you are a family man or not.
