To begin with, you and anyone (who isn't a muslim) here antagonising the Christians have probably attended more church or religious programmes in the last 12 months than I have in the last 12 years. I'd quote at least 10 posts of mine over the years reiterating this (that I'm barely religious) and troling those who reiterate what their pastors say.

I'm barely religious but I am of the Christian faith.
Religion and spirituality are different not the same. Not mutually exclusive but not the same. Religion is nothing more than a set of doctrines influenced by its custodians. That's why I don't reference and would never reference any pastor, priest or clergyman as an authority on biblical history or doctrines. All my arguments so far have been based on this.

Funny though that Jesus the Christ whom Christians reference stopped a woman from being stoned according to Jewish laws. That marked the beginning of Christianity and a deviation from such doctrines.

The same Bible which said for the children of Israel not to associate with unbelievers in older texts also tweaked its stance for everyone of all races and religions being loved by God and God showing them.

Remember my earlier comment about Christianity reinventing itself? Now this what makes it a humane religion or, if you like, a humane faith.
