Good morning to all the gurus here ..

Pls I need a guide ,

Pls what if someone cannot travel to the UK within the 6months visitor visa ?

I got a visa late last year and due to so much restructuring in my company there is need for me to be on ground , visa is expires next month. Hence haven't been able to travel .

This is actually my second visa to the UK ..

Pls Justwise and crew your advice would be appreciated .

Thanks

You don't need to have sleepless nights over this. If you are not ready to travel now then reapply for a new visa. Attached copy of the visa to your new application. State the reason why you unable to visit UK as planned in your next application.

For @ the bolded.? Do the approach in your next application regardless of what you decide; use or not before expiration of visa..

If you drop a question on this thread, if anyone knows the answer they’ll reply ..
this is how everyone has assisted one way or the other.

if a part of what is being said is not accurate or upto date.. be sure someone else that knows will add their own information…
So waiting for some particular persons to answer when you have got credible answers will not work
The other ppl replying are now what… @rkayfree the last page ppl have been answering, yet I dnt know what else to be honest

When a visitor visa gets denied and the refusal focused on one bank statement instead of two bank statement that was submitted and the ECO complained about insufficient funds due to reviewing only just one bank statement, can that be taken as case working Error and does that fit in for Admistrative review?
Visit visa has no space for admin review. You can go for reconsideration/complaint OR reapply immediately and tackle this

hello House,

Is 1,800,000NGN okay for travel expense for a 7 days trip as a tourist?

If it's only you traveling, reduce your budget.... Also how much do you earn on a monthly basis??

Good evening house....

I've paid for the visa fees and i've also booked for my appointment
i downloaded a checklist document, my question now is .....

1. Am i to fill the checklist after printing it out, so i can add it to my documents will going for my biometric

2. I saw somewhere that after uploading my documents on the TLS website that i will not need to take it to the TLS center anymore, how true is this please?

If you did self service, you won't need to go to TLS center with the checklist.

The checklist would be needed, they would need to sign the bottom of the page.

Check the last page of your checklist. If the bottom is like this screenshot then you need it, because they would ask you to sign it.

If you uploaded your documents yourself, you'll need ONLY the first page of the checklist.

No need to state reason. I had a visa I never used. Nobody asked me why and I've never explained why I didn't use it. It's actually a plus for you as it shows you are not desperate to visit the UK. I got the visa, I was too busy at work to travel. I didn't go. Shows you have more important things to do. Reapply and you'll get another visa.

I suggest you reapply and explain the error in a cover letter.

Use one bank statement next time. Too many documents confuse the visa officers. Keep it simple.

Too much. N1M maximum. You can actually spend about N800,000 - if you have free accomodation. Your ticket will take the bulk - about N420,000 depending on the airline and the period.

Hi everyone,

Please how many months bank statement do I need to submit for Standard Visitor Visa?

Ideally, 6 months. If you haven't worked for up to 6 months, provide what you have. If you were refused in the past, provide 12 months. My advise. Not cast in stone.

Do not do anything fraudulent. 10 years ban is no joke. If they pay money into a ficticious salary account, will you also get ficticious payslips and tax clearance? Be honest at all times. What will be, will be. Be honest and pray for favour.

Do you really have to state you have been denied a visa to another country in your application? I want to know the implication(s) if you don't add that...

State it. You have everything to gain if you do and plenty to lose if you don't.

They can find out if they really want to so best you state it

Good evening house . Please I want to apply for a UK visa with my wife , we got married 12 years ago and have a son 11 years old but no marriage certificate it was a traditional wedding . No travel experience but we plan to go to Cotonou , Togo and Ghana to disvirgin our passport . Please anyone can advice us on what to do about this

Don't waste your money. Save the money you plan to spend on your Ghana and Togo trip. UK visa officers don't reckon with those Countries. Fill your form carefully, have a clean bank statement. Be honest. Good luck!

I'm currently on a page where i was asked if i had any relative in the UK
I check the YES option
It brought me to a page where i was asked to select the relationship between us
I scrolled through the options and I could not find the Uncle option except the following

Adopted child
Brother inlaw
Brother
Child
Child's spouse
Daughter
Daughter in law
Father
Father in law
Grandchild
Grandparent
Husband
Mother
Mother in law
Parent

sister in law
son
son in law
spouse [husband or wife]
step child
step parents

Those are the only options i saw there.....

Any help please

Uncle should be there. Check again. I know because my children have an Uncle and they always state it

I applied for a 2 years visa with my children, we've been to the UK together and i schooled and work there on post study visa for some time before coming home. i don't know why I'm just seeing few mistakes i made in my application right after my biometric.....where they asked have you been to the UK in the last 10 years? i answered yes and put the month and year.......only to realize now that i typed in October 2018 instead of July 2018, this is an honest mistake....we don't stay beyond 4 weeks when we go to the UK so never over stayed i only made a mistake of the month i filled in, funny enough i filled July 2018 for my kids. i haven't been able to think straight, i'm the same person the bank addressed the letter to German Embassy instead of British embassy. 2 years visa money no be beans ooooo....been thinking .....do i need to send any mail ?

Auntie, calm down. If they really doubt you, they can always check. It's easy. Everything is on the computer so I'm sure the ECO will realize it was a genuine mistake. Come back to share your testimony.

Thanks for the response sir ..

But are you saying I should just let it expire without travelling or notifying the visa office abi ECO as they call it ?

Let it expire. Reapply the day it expires. Doesn't matter to the ECO. They will be happy you are not desperate to visit the UK

My advise: remember everything you stated in your form. You will be asked the same question in different ways. Ensure your anwers are consistent. It is just psychology. They want to catch you in case you choose to lie. Do not lie. If you don't understand a question, say you don't and ask the interviewer to repeat the question. Be honest. Be calm. Pray. Good luck!
