Nebulax: Guy chill @seunmsg won you squarely on this. You can't say you know more about politics and opine that consensus in this context will make the party stronger. With a credible primary election, losers easily accept their loss and readily support the winner. How will you feel if your teachers were picking the best students for promotions or prizes without exams? Or if football matches were decided on consensus. They all have every right to contest. So let the best candidate or better game player win 8 Likes |

It can't work in any serious party now. Any party that does it will face a serious problem. It is too late now. Let there be level playing ground for all contestants. 1 Like |

This is the screen criteria. Presidential aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are currently being screened to determine their suitability, party chair Abdullahi Adamu said yesterday. A panel made up of lawyers in the legal department is looking through the documents submitted by the aspirants as well as reports submitted on them by security agencies. Senator Adamu, spoke during an interview session with Hausa-speaking media organisations at his office in Abuja. Many candidates will be punished here |

I have been reading the comments above and i have been laughing. Those of you saying the present govt needs to be removed and the saviour is Tinubu, please, who went all out to ensure that the present govt won? The same nonsense that was said before the advent of the current govt is the same song you people are now singing. You obviously don't learn from history. Anyway, may God give us the right persons to govern this country, if it is the same Tinubu you people are advocating for, may he do the will of God. Peace! 2 Likes |

ojuu4u: On plans by the party to force a consensus, he said, “There is no truth in what you said. The reason is that the chairmanship seat is not the same as that of the tussle for the Presidency of the country. You can’t even compare the two of them. That question does not arise. What's so difficult to understand in the above? This is the highlight of the whole interview. Don't let bitterness temper with your brains. 6 Likes |

CharleyBright:Osinbajo is a saint ,a mezziah and a perfect man? Will it not be an elongation of the Buharis regime? Any president in the SW must come from Ogun State? The truth many are yet to understand is that none of our aspirants in our parties has love of the masses! I have no hope in them. |
