Yes Jonathan ruled 6 years. 4 years of his own and 2 years in completion of Yar Adua-Jonathan presidency.

There's a case in court presently to decide if he's eligible to contest and rule for another 4 years which will take the number of years he ruled to 10 years instead of the 8 years provided by the constitution.

Some SAN's and senior lawyers claim.hes nit eligible while some beleive otherwise. Let's see how the court will interpret the constitution in this case.
