The applicant won't have sufficient funds even if he has 30 billion USD in bank balance!
This is not true or let me say it's an exaggeration. In that case file, the judge and the Respondent claimed if the Appellant had shown $136,000 or so and was able to prove that the sponsor had no responsibility over anyone else, the Appellant would have won the case. Also, with the $46,000 or so that the Appellant showed, IRCC could have shown "mercy" if he had successfully convinced the VO that the fund would be available and more funds would be provided as time goes on and the sponsor had no responsibility over siblings. The Respondent claimed the onus was on the Appellant to prove the stated points which he failed to do. Sorry for my wording which I term "mercy". I actually meant that IRCC could have used their discretion to justify that more monies would be available maybe due to the sponsor job or ability to generate more fund. 1 Like |

You don't necessarily need to write any exam to apply for Study Visa except requested by your college or university of choice to gain admission.
It's rare of Canadian schools to ask Nigerians to sit examination. . Thanks! I really appreciate your response So the first thing is to apply for admission into their school? |

Sorry for my wording which I term "mercy". I actually meant that IRCC could have used their discretion to justify that more monies would be available maybe due to the sponsor job or ability to generate more fund. I was looking at reasons of refusal by VO ..the applicant will not have sufficient funds like i said ..even if it is 30billion Usd in bank balance! based on career path: given education and employment history...there was no reasons to pursue the program! Application will still be refused based on insufficient funds! Applicant would have argued that the reasons of insufficient funds was merely based on the above however he has no evidence why employment history and education did not relate to choice of program! And why he would like to pursue the program!... |

POF cover letter had 3 tables (Year 1, Year 2, and Summary) showing the breakdown of the cost of attendance and funding. Subheadings were then used to explain each source of funding and bank accounts used. The POF cover letter can have all the explanations for your POF, so you do not have to replicate it in your LOE, thereby freeing up some space/pages in your LOE.
In your LOE and POF cover letter, don't leave anything to the imagination of the VO. When you allow them to make their own deductions/assumptions, it might not always be in your favour. Explain everything as succinctly as you can.

Some Canadian schools have International Student Advisors (Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants or Regulated International Student Immigration Advisors) that support international students for free in their study permit application process and beyond. Guys please is study permit no longer issued at point of entry? My understanding is that student (TRV) visa is applied for which is used to enter the country and then study permit will be issued at point of entry? Or study permit in this case, is it one and the same with the travel visa? Kurukuru: My people if you want to apply for a study permit, be ready to provide funds for your entire stay NOT THE ONE YEAR that is on their website o The below new jurisprudence is an ambush many VOs will be using now. https://www.canlii.org/en/ca/fct/doc/2022/2022fc728/2022fc728.html?autocompleteStr=2022%20FC%20728%20&autocompletePos=1
