You can't get them admission from outside Canada but you need to show exchange of email with the school you intend to enrol your child. Some schools ( private or public) will end you registration form to fill after which you will be notified your child has been waitlisted and that you should contact the school to finalise their admission process as soon as you touch base in Canada.

How do you find a school to enroll your child without a Canadian address? Because you get schools by inputting your address then a list of schools in the locality will pop up. That’s not a requirement because on the site it says once the parent has a study permit, the child doesn’t need to have you. Nigerians be messing up applications and creating their own IRCC requirements. You show exchange of mail when you don’t have an address to use and search for schools. They that put that up on their site are aware of these so it can only be applicable to private schools

All your concerns are on Proof of Funds and Home Ties.

If POF and and Home Ties make you think Canadian Visa is harder to get, then you are not playing by the rules and you are not ready to make your ways right.

You even mentioned here that people borrow money and put in account for 30 days (refer to a part of your post bolded above). This sounds unprofessional and dishonest of you, it corroborates the fact that you are not ready to mend your ways. In fact, this is an evidence that you are one of the people giving genuine Nigerians problems in getting Canadian visa. Your words encourage IRCC to make Nigerian processing time longer. In Poland, visa application and decision take 3 - 5 days despite backlogs. You are one of the people giving them evidence to treat Nigerians shabbily. Kindly desist from this kind of behaviour.
Lol. Always derailing from the point as usual. All the points centennial guy raised are genuine.

Same way you attacked those who advised against 1 year program. Some one here even asked you how to get pnp during 1 year program study and you fled.

Thanks appreciate the response

As per the visa application fee, which are mostly of low amount, most people use barter by flutter.
but for school fees which are mostly large amount, you can use form A or better still get someone in Canada who you trust to help you pay in dollars and you'll send the naira equivalent to such person.
But please be very careful about this second option, make sure it's someone you can trust with your money cause there are a lot of scams.
I hope this helps.
Peace.

@Showyoung,

Please try to understand what @Centinnialguy was trying to put out. He is not talking out of his own opinion but out of real facts which virtually all of us can relate with. Let me use myself as an example. Since i started this Visa race last year September, i can count the number of my peeps who have left the country. These peeps actually started their process after i have put in my own application to Canada o. Let me burst your bubble, i just saw one of them online now, Baba don enter New York, that one is not even UK ooo.

The bitter truth is, UK cares less about hometie, who hometie help? Wetin be the meaning of that "BS" sef. What's your business with my hometie? What if the person is an orphan and single, make the person go rent family? This is one of the reasons Canada uses. Canada VOs are not after your perfect application, all they look for are your mistakes so that they can either delay your application for further investigation and frustration or deny you immediately. I have ordered plenty notes on just one application and its only one i don receive in 7months of application.

For those who say Canada hates lies, i tell you they lie to us more than applicants lie to them. They will tell you that once you don't get your GCMS notes in 30days that they will update you for the need to extend the processing time. My last gcmes notes request is already going beyond 2months. Notes wey i don ask for since March 24th. These people no say pim to me or the third party i used. Other issues relating to being open nko. We outside Canada can't eve reach IRCC via call conversation. Try calling Nairobi line, they will just waste your credit, nobody to talk to. Send them mail and webform, na threats you go see last last.

At the end we will all sing our congratulatory songs.

And if anyone has any IRCC battle you want to fight with me, esu o ni ya e lo. Fight your battle yourself.

I am not obliged to answer all questions. It's normal I'll miss some or may choose not to answer.

Meanwhile, using the word "attack" makes the point that you are birds of a feather.

If applicants cannot afford 2 year course, should they abandon their dream? I am saying it again, 1 year programs give opportunity of becoming PR. You can't say more than what you know and do.

About how to get PNP during 1 year study program, you may want to read more about New Brunswick PNP. I don't have to give you all the info. With a pointer, you should be able to do the research.

Kindly note that I am not one of those who speak or write trash. Whatever fact I have never tested and confirmed, I don't say or write about.

@Teemenzo

I quite understand your point, but we cannot dictate to IRCC how they want to do their things.

We should be the one to check ourselves. Canada has this biaise against us because of our fraudulent and criminal tendency.

You only know about your application if you don't deal with many applications. Some of us know the terrible things people try with IRCC.

My daughter had a similar scenario...I applied for student visa for her to undertake a one year Academic upgrading program (which is similar to your sister's High school completion program) in 2020...SSCE was late that year due to COVID. She started the AU program in Sept 2020 about the time SSCE commenced...the program was online, anyway. IRCC started a 2-way visa approval process that year whereby they issue you an approval-in-principle once you have no background eligibility issues. By the time her program started, we only had an AIP from IRCC.

By November 2020, we got her PPR and visa (with study permit letter) later that month. The study permit clearly stated the program she was admitted into (i'm sure you sister's permit approval letter will indicate that too). The permit was just for 15 months or so since it was a one-year program anyway. WAEC results came out in November 2020 and her results were outstanding, so i quickly applied to some universities. She got a number of admissions along with scholarships...we took our time to select.

Based on full disclosure concerns, i informed the school of our choice that she had started an AU program already in Canada, and they requested for her transcripts. Meanwhile, she just completed a semester in December 2020 and i sent results of the 3 subjects she took. Mind you, her admission was withdrawn subject to a review of her 'latest results'. She travelled to Canada in January 2021 to continue her AU program which was still online (due to COVID). By February 2021, the school restored her admission and our fears were doused.

The terms of her study permit limited her from working outside her school campus...i think this is because she was a minor back then and the admission was categorised as High School. So i reapplied for another study permit for her as a 'canada resident'. The process was faster and less stressful. The new study permit was issued for the length of her passport (2024)...she has completed Year one in the university and looking forward to resuming Year 2 next Fall 2022.

My advice is for you to wait and see the details of her study permit, the terms stated on it. She can travel to Canada with that visa/study permit and then apply for a new study permit (change of status) from inside Canada. You can contact me via a reply or privately if you need more elucidation..

Sorry for any typos

It's PPR guys,

I don't even know if I should be happy or sad.

Remember few months ago when i wrote about my sister whose study visa application was complicated.

Background:
She had gotten admission to complete one year high school (grade 12) in Canada for fall of 2021. Submitted application for study visa in May with upfront medical.

School refused to defer the admission because of her age and refunded tuition to us.

On October received first correspondence letter talking about BVL validity. Since she had lost the admission, we didn't bother and just continued with life.

WAEC result was released and she did very well, that initiated the travel process again but this time to a university.

Current situation:
First, requested for GCMS note, which revealed application was approved since Oct 1st 2021 (remember the BVL) but PPR was never sent. She wrote and passed IELTS, applied and got admission to a University and that was when I came here.

A webform was raised to update LOA with IRCC. There was no acknowledgement email or request for additional documents. Then a mail was sent to MP who came back to reiterate similar information (eligibility and background was completed, application was approved but no request letter was issued). He then said an agent will work on it and get back to us.

Then came PPR.

State of things now:
How do we know if approval is for new institution or the high school?

Can she still travel with the new approval considering it's coming a year after (high school admission was suppose to be from September 2021 - June 2022)

Please kindly help elaborate or give clarity. Thank you.

IRCC made people to do nonsense with them. All you need us do is to demonstrate our funds if they are available in liquid form. How will you be telling us that the funds must be sitting there useless for at least 4months? How will you be telling us that 30m is not enough for a course that we know after calculating all expenses doesnot even reach 25m? How na? Its bad. Their schools even hold us to ransom by making us commit huge sums of money. Na beans? For most Nigerians, all these PR dreams you are talking about is not the koko, the first step is to comot and then gain some sanity. After that, if PR dream wan fall in place, no yawa. @Teemenzo

I understand your claim. I know you will get to Canada: a time will come when you must have lived among them and know their ways, only then will you be able to see why IRCC will make visa decisions in 3 - 5 days for those in Poland and take 6 months or more in treating ours.

As you have said, you said the "Koko" is to move out of here and get some sanity. That "sanity" is what you'll learn in Canada because that is what makes the difference.

People can't see it, no matter how much I talk about it. It's a Psychological thing.

Though i do read some meanings to your posts but the fact is still the fact. Canada is in short way out of our scope. They set the rules and kind of diplomatically run this circular race around it, if you want to criticize them, they will tell you they are still following the set rules.
