what means can one stay back in Canada after exhausting the student visa duration?

If you study in a DLI and in a PGWP-eligible program, you can apply for a Post Graduation Work Permit after your study and eventually become a Permanent Resident.

Good day guys,

So I went to the bank regarding my form a application and I was told to write a letter of authority to debit my account, please can someone give me a format on what to write.
I saw this one nairaland one time but I can't find it anymore.
I'd really appreciate if I could get a quick response.

Do not defer yet, even if you will do so, let it be in August when it's clear that you may not get a decision in that month.

If you know why you were refused and how to tackle it, you can reapply; but you may need to order for and examine your GCMS notes to know the VO concerns.

Thank you so much for your response.

Denial was based on financial status and purpose of visit .

@Teemenzo

I understand your claim. I know you will get to Canada: a time will come when you must have lived among them and know their ways, only then will you be able to see why IRCC will make visa decisions in 3 - 5 days for those in Poland and take 6 months or more in treating ours.

As you have said, you said the "Koko" is to move out of here and get some sanity. That "sanity" is what you'll learn in Canada because that is what makes the difference.

People can't see it, no matter how much I talk about it. It's a Psychological thing.
we need to put one thing into consideration Poland is a develop county ,and there are less people willing to migrate compared to Africa county....South Africa visa processing time for south African is 3-5 days while non south Africans are 3-7 days because they have less application

In my case @ShowYoung is a guru. He is so calm and professional. Very transparent.

My friends gave me his line and he has proven to be whom they call him.
Sometimes, you may not understand him but if you ask him to explain more, he will calmly explain.

Thanks, I really appreciate this.

This may be easy to tackle. Just forget about this one and channel your energy on reapplying: you will definitely get your visa approval in your next application by God's grace.

Sorry to hear that, what did you submit initially as proof of funds? As regards FORM A, it is very straightforward, sign up on the CBN trade portal and apply.

Thanks. Submitted dorm acct of more than 30k USD, savings of 7m, and I am self sponsored.

My PPR Timeline

This was my second application. I first applied 11 April 2021 and was denied on 9 September 2021. So, I had to defer my admission to Fall, 2022. Upon refusal, a darling friend referred me to Nairaland and also put my through how to apply for GCMS. I had a lot of help while processing my reapplication and I'm grateful to everyone who helped.

Portal - New Portal
Reapplication - 21 April 2022
Eligibility and medical update- 4 May 2022
PPR - 3 June 2022 (6 weeks and 1 day)

Because I used the new portal and I had quite a lot of documents to submit, I had to make use of every column available. Therefore, I'm attaching screenshots of the documents I submitted and I how I made it easier for the VO to see those documents.

God, in His infinite mercy, will answer those awaiting their PPRs. Thank you.

Congratulations, very well written, thank you for sharing… it is going to help others!!!

No. Use another bank. Access Globus stanbic TTB First Bank.
Find a trusted person you know who has account in any of those banks and transfer money there. Then use their account to process the Form A.
If you open a fresh account with any of those banks I am not sure they will attend to you because some usually have 6 months account history rule.
If you use Gtb, I Can assure you even in the next 6 Months you won't be attended to.

Unfortunately, CBN has not been allocating FX as much as they used to, so for Big banks like GTB that have many requests, it has been been slow processing the requests they have, if you want to go with GTB, it will take you at least 4 weeks to process, but it is by no means only related to GTB, there is another big bank which I won't mention that has temporarily stopped processing form A. My advice will be look for a small bank to use, but discuss with them first before committing your funds to know their turn around time.

That being said, I thought you had a loan from Mpower to pay the fees, why are you paying this fund yourself?

Are you sure you funded it with the right amount? It's possible the amount you funded is not up to the dollar equivalent of the Canadian amount you want to pay.

If you just created the card, they usually charge about 2 dollars for the card creation, so you have to factor that into the amount you fund the card with.

Its easy, just fill the application and ensure you have some funds to show too. She should ensure she has good stand with credit bureau, has the necessary documents required and she is good.

Email IOM to request for urgent appointment. Attach your medical request letter, proof of payment for the medical exam and put your preferred appointment date in the email. They will reply you within 3 business days with a better appointment date.

Congrats in advance.
