It looks like Tinubu was right after all, for not even bothering himself to visit the southeast to canvass for delegates votes.

You just have to start from somewhere

Nobody will give you presidency on a platter
Yes you have to strat from somewhere that does not mean you need to lose disgracefully in a primary. Endorsing another person could be a wiser route to take. Don't forget Tinubu did not contest in 2015 and 2019, rather he endorsed Buhari. There is nothing wrong with knowing when to fold up.

Must a region produce President in order not to be marginalized in a serious country? We are not ready to advance as a nation. Marginalization is when a government appropriate the collective wealth of the nation to favour only a particular region. It has nothing to do with which region produces President, it has everything to do with the materials you guys keep electing as President. Igbos not need presidency to stop marginalization, what they and indeed all Nigerians need is a credible material that knows what building a heterogeneous and multi ethnic nation like Nigeria is all about. Not the one that talk about 97% and 5%, or the one that talks about it is Yoruba turn.
Dear, this is grammar. Wake up.....this is 9ja

Lawan is buharis choice. His is a staunch worshiper of buhari. Throughout his tenure as senate president he's been in full support for whatever buhari does, good or bad. The cabal strongly wish to install one who they can control and lawan is the perfect candidate for that.
Pls take this to the bank. Enough of d unnecessary permutations.
It's very obvious

Tinubu never declared interested in the race ab initio on both occasions. So there was no need stepping down for anybody

You have said it all.

It is the turn of SE, if SW and SS feels that they are smart, we will show them how it is been done.

The presidency should forever remain in the North
DaveDGreat:

SE or it remains in the North till South get sense. The greedy and slimy Judas of the South won't see shishi. Two can play the game.

I get that but stepping down is a path of politics we see it all the time. In 2008, Biden stepped down during the primaries for Obama, today he is the leader of the free world. You step down when you see that you cant win and you want to remain relevant in the system.
