Apologies for the long write up.

There is this young lady in my area that used to be a tailor or as most people call it, a fashion designer.
She works with a group of tailors in a shop that is very close to were I stay. I usually go there to press my clothes whenever we experience power outage. We don't know or speak to each other but I noticed she was very good in her craft and to be honest, I admired her because of that but not in a romantic way.

One day, I went there to press some clothes and I saw her talking with a friend. She was complaining that most times she would design clothes for people and she would have to remind them to pay up the remaining balance they owe. Her friend asked why she allowed them to take their clothes when they are still owing and her reply was because she's finding it difficult to get customers so she doesn't want to make the few ones she has feel bad when they demand for their clothes and promise to pay up.

To cut this story short, a time came when I didn't see her anymore in the shop and when I asked the other designers, their reply was she's no longer designing. I didn't see her for a long time untill recently, just few days back, I saw this young lady stepping down from a benz with tinted glass and very loud music playing in it. She looked completely different...

very tight physique revealing clothes.

That innocent look she used to have was completely gone.

When she saw me staring, I could sense this sudden look of anger/embarrassment on her face, so I stopped staring at her and pretended like I was staring at something else behind her.

I've been feeling a bit sad ever since. Sad because of the pressure alot of youths are facing in this country. I also feel guilty for not speaking up and encouraging her when I heard her complaining to her friend but even if I did, I don't know what she was going through in her personal life, so encouraging her may not have yielded anything positive. I am just sharing this here with you guys to clear my head instead of keeping it to myself and feeling down.

na wa...well,you don't have really hate yourself for this...she made her choice.....if you are so much bothered about her,you could go and get friendly with her, maybe she would confide in you...if not...just move on...don't be sad over decisions made by an adult...WE ALL HAVE A PATH TO CHOOSE AND FOLLOW

Well... Society will always throw it weights on you, but it's left for you to chest or fall for it, I believe at every point in life, we all have choices to make, she already made her choice.

People never learn to mind their own business.

Everyone is responsible for the outcome of his/her life.

That's vaginarians for you. They give up on life struggles easily, they don't even want to try at all. She has chosen the easy way that will soon lead to her destruction. Don't feel down, just feel pity for her because soon, she will likely be a sacrificial lamb for ritual killers.

Make una no crucify the young lady. It's her life, let her live it. If the repercussion comes she will be the one to face it alone.


We never know what people go through until we are in the same shoes. I wish her well

Oga, that you didn't encourage her didn't make her enter the street or change hustle. She actually had it in her and for the fact she wasn't patient enough to allow the seeds of hardwork to germinate, make dey see what it is like on the other side.

I thought I was being patriotic by criticizing those relocating but I realized that u can still pray for a better nation while outside ur country reason why I stopped criticizing them who have relocate
