so sorry to hear this, I'm also in the same age bracket as you,
Order for your gcms notes immediately, as the reasons you stated below are generic reasons for refusal, until you get your gcms notes you won't be able to understand the visa officer's claim.
Anyways I wish you luck in your next application.
Eh God no forget your pikin oooo, make my mama and papa no go waste money on top lasu resumption oooo.
sodmad:
Hello nairalanders, I applied for my study permit visa and I was refused. I'm 18years of age, admitted at University of Alberta for the fall term 2022.
Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit
application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet
the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and
Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in
subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.
You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can
demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements.

My sponsor was a board member of my high school who has promised to sponsor the overall best student to study in Canada.
Documents submitted:-
-Application form
-Birth certificate
-passport
-LOE
-Proof of funds by sponsor - N12m
-Entrance Scholarship from school - $8000 CAD
-Tuition deposit -$1000CAD
-My certificate of excellence as the best student
-WAEC certificate

I want to request for GCMS note.....

Pls. How can I address my refusal
@MrFrank @everyone pls help me......

Oga calm down .

The question sounds weird , yes but He probably din’t mean it that way.
Maybe he thinks you need to show minimum of a particular amount in your account for the loan to be approved.
Besides this is an anonymous thread, you can just state you won’t like to share that info.

Your response comes off stern.

Meanwhile, I want to submit the investigation report and petition to IRCc and make the payment. Please sir, how do I access the link for making the payment?

As far you have been given procedural fairness letter write and give concrete reasons with evidences but that application will be refused.
Only God/miracle can make that application approved.

Oga calm down,
If na so everybody for nairaland dey reply you, you for no dey come nairaland dey ask your own question again.
He only sked you this question because he might be preparing to submit his application and he's concerned about the funds required or he might have even submitted and he's just trying to compare yours to his application.
So calm down no one is trying to know how much you have in your account, besides even if you had told him, it's a faceless platform, no one knows who is who here.

Good morning family, please I'm.filling my imm1294e form and there are some sections thats a bit unclear.
1. For the cost of study I'm going for a 4 year PhD program, does this means tuition for a year or for four years ?
2. Similarly does the funds available for my stay means for the entire duration of program or per year?

3. I received a fully funded scholarship when indicating my fees would be paid by other do I simply write "Scholarship"?
Note I had previously chose "No" in the eligibility page inquiring about scholarships because the awarding institution in this case my University wasn't listed among the awarding bodies

Take your documents to a court of law of any jurisdiction and notarize. It's just like the way you do give your affidavit of birth or declaration of age to court people to sign.

If you go meet a lawyer, you will pay bills ooo

Junene:
Hello Nairalanders! please I need your help. I got my visa in October last year and immediately applied for my kids. Since then, no response. I traveled ahead and left my kids behind because school was resuming in April but it was the hardest period of my life.
I spoke with my program coordinators and they allowed me come back home since my courses were virtual.

This is my dilemma: After doing the Canadian life for a few weeks I’ve seen how difficult it’ll be for me to combine school and 2 toddlers (2&4 year olds) without my husband (he’s staying back) and I think I should wait for both of them to be of school age first. Even if I want to come with them, I’ll have to reapply and with all these IRCC long waiting times, the visa may not come in time for me to go with them in September. If I abandon this study visa (it expires in Feb 2023), will I have issues getting a new one when I’m ready (maybe in 2 years)? What would you guys honestly advice?
Well, regardless of any advice given here, you're still the one to decide what and what worth it. Is it to abandon your study and be with your family, or to sacrifice few years to get what you want and unite with them.

Personally, if I were to be in your situation, I'll continue with my study. So far my kids are with their Dad in Nigeria, I'll be relieved to some extent. They are not with relatives or third parties, so I'm sure their Dad will take good care of them. The sacrifice I'm making is for the betterment of our future as a family, and after my studies they can join me anytime, if the goals have been achieved.

If I chose to abandon my studies, what could possibly happened? Applying after 2 years, IRCC already know I was given a study permit in the past and abandoned it. What could I possibly give as reasons to convince the VO the second time that I am now ready and a genuine student? What is the guarantee that the situation that made me abandon my study would have been better by then?

I believe any good thing comes with its own sacrifices. The 2 years I want to wait, I would have finished my studies and possibly get a PR or close to getting it. Then why should I keep delaying when no one knows what the future holds.

We have seen someone here that left Canada and wish to reapply with her husband of a marriage that is just 3 months or so. The person believes its her documents that will speak for her again. That was her choice.
And that's why I said earlier that everything still depends on what you think is best for you.

Gracias
