Which year did Brent get to $140 to even exceed it. Get your facts right before regurgitating street anthems.
You are right, it was at Yar Adua's time not Jonathan's time, I got it wrong there.
However, you can't deny that until late 2014, Oil prices on the average hovered around 110 dollars per barrel.

Google Buharism. It is a unique term for Buhari's policies.

The policies are great long term if implemented well but they bring sufferings short term. Because of Buharism, Babangida took action in 1985 due to the suffering of the masses, but I which he didn't.

We suffered then but we would have reaped the benefits long term. Babangida came in and immediately took us into the IMF trap.

Rubbish, the oil price is at its oil time high, so why isn't Nigeria experiencing any growth. Any country that has arable land for agriculture and the 9th largest oil reserve in the world should be experiencing on average 8% growth rate. Buhari and APC are just hopeless at everything.

Now we understand how bad things looked bad under Jonathan that necessitated Change.
As for Buhari let's say it was expected but Jonathan taking us from a whooping 7.9% to 4.8% is unprecedented.

In 2008, there were enough savings from the Obasanjo era due to the high oil prices. Buhari inherited a depleted account, no savings. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala warned against it in the Jonathan era but the Governors insisted otherwise.

Also in 2008, oil prices were around 140 dollars to the barrel.

The only person who have managed to keep the economy afloat and increase our foreign reserves more than double fold even with oil prices as low as 9 dollars per barrel (coupled with sanctions from the West) is Abacha. Abacha also reduced inflation from 54% to 9% despite having some of the lowest oil prices at the time coupled with low foreign investments. It seems our politicians today need to go learn how he pulled all of that off.
What is more surprising is that even with all of that, we keep retrieving so called Abacha's loot where he stored them in foreign accounts till this day.

Everything you have said is wrong
Everything!!
Crucially you do not understand the figures
1, Obasanjo did not have high oil prices the highest oil price under Obasanjo was $70 in his final year in office and in was $19 in 1999 when he came to office.
2. The growth in the figures is average. Now Obasanjo was in office for 8 years so we are talking of average growth over an 8 year period. That is the greatest GDP growth year on year.
When he came to office GDP was $59 billion and when he left it was $275 billion . That is our economy grew by 458% when Obasanjo was in power for 8 years. If that had happened again we would be a leading world economy
3. Okonjo-Iweala warning against not saving is nonsense and an untenable excuse. The FG has about 56% of the revenue so if there was any failure to save the FG has 56% responsibility. What happened to the FG's share why was the FG account depleted? Why was that not saved? So we had a scenario where oil was sold above the benchmark and governors demanded their 44% share but the FG's share in excess of the budget was all spent too. Why? 56%. Why sould the FG save for the states? Why did the FG not save its own 56%
4 All the nonsense you have written about Abacha is funny. What was the GDP under Abacha? under $60 billion. Even Lagos State today has a higher GDP

Sustaining growth year on year for 8 years taking GDP from $59 billion to $275 billion in 8 years is really remarkable Obasanjo's economic record is the best in our history but we lost momentum under Jonathan which shows us that Okonjo-Iweala needed supervision which Jonathan failed to provide and things when awry

That is the senseless analysis that this Fulanis and Northerners in general hold on to; the lies. The twisting of facts and figures. The brazen lies! Abacha who's loot is still being recovered decades after his demise. He was a hero to this senseless northerners. We simply can't be together.
