They said he won't win primaries because they know he is a man of intergrity and won't agree to buy delegates. he outsmarted them and left their midst

They said he only saved money and never embarked on any project while he was governor, the anambarians listed uncountable works done by Peter obi.

They have been digging bone and skeleton to know if there will be any scandal about him,. EFCC,ICPC, even FIRS can attest that his tax is upto date.

They called him a tribal bigot, he listed all the six commissioners of police that he worked with, all came far outside his tribe and religion.

They said his supporters are cursing and insulting others,this is same thing they did to a sitting president and it was not a crime then.

Obi's bet would have been to stay with Atiku. Atiku seems to like the guy but the way Obi's supporters are pushing him, thinking that the whole Nigerians are with them the way social media are hyping the man. The fact is Labour Party doesn't have the structure to win a presidential election in Nigeria yet. Even if by chance they win, a situation where more than 90% of the national assembly members are either APC or PDP, how effectively could a president from Labour party perform? He would have have to agree with them or get impeached. The situation we have found ourselves is a very complex one.

What matters most is the transparency of the electoral process and its incorruptibility. If the accredited voters on election day tally with votes counted and every party is accorded due votes received rest assured that Kano politicians will be shocked at what Labour party will score in the presidential elections.
